MCI Teleconferences like most teleconference services require credit card verification to set up. You need three things to setup an MCI teleconference, a valid name, credit card number, and a billing address. However, most MCI operators are very stupid and ignorant and will not check to see if the name you've given them matches the credit card number you have given them. Some might verify all the information you have given them but most of the mci operators I have encountered dont. I'm not going to tell you how to obtain valid credit card numbers because there are enough texts out there that will explain to you how to do this. Now since you have common sense I need not mention this but for the mentally challenged, setup all conference calls from a payphone or from a phone that cannot be traced back to you. Its all common sense people. Now once you've obtained a valid name, credit card number, and billing address, haul your azz down to a payphone and call 1-800-369-1117. When you call 1-800-369-1117, an operator will come on. Tell her you want to setup a telconference and she'll ask you for your authorization code, tell her you dont have one and wish to setup an account with mci. She'll then ask you for your name, billing address and some other basic questions. She'll then ask you if you have mci worldcom as your long distance carrier and of course you will answer no. She'll then proceed to ask you for your credit card number and expiration date and your going to give it to her. Now she'll now go away and verify the information you gave her, if shes a mentally challenged operator then she'll just verify the credit card number but if she has a cerebral cortex she'll make sure everything is in line before setting up the conference call. It all depends on what kind of operator you get, :-). If she comes back and tells you everything is valid, shes going to ask you some basic questions about what kind of conference you want setup. Well tell her you want a 3 hour dial in, 10 person conference with no international parties and toned entrance all automated with passcode 31337 (yes mci lets you specify your own custom access codes ;p). This will save you some lenghty explanation from that bitch operator. She will then ask you when you want the call setup and you tell her when you want it setup. If you want it setup as soon as possible, she'll tell you mci works within a 20 minute time limit so you'll have to wait that long. However most of the time its bullshit and the conference will be up in a matter of minutes, just goes to show you how ignorant mci operators are, :-D. She will then proceed to tell you your 888 dialin number and your confirmation code which you can use later on when you want to setup another conference. Mci has a new feature now after you setup a conf where they will send the bill and authorization code to the billing address you specified for future conference usage. Now once the person you screwed over gets that bill telling them how much they have to pay for the conference and their mci teleconference authorization code they will get extremely suspicious and chances are you wont be able to setup any more conferences under that account. The bill usually arrives within 7-10 business days so setup as many conferences as possible within that scope. Mci teleconferences can be either extrememly simple to setup and enjoyable or a pain in the ass to setup and frustrating, it all depends on what kind of operator you get, so hope for a good one. If you get a bitchy one, ph33r not, call back a little later and talk to a different one. Try not to setup any conferences over the range or 3 or 3 and a half hours long. The operators and conference coordinators will begin to get suspicious why someone is setting up a 5 hour conference with 15 people, so try not to OD. Remember to save that confirmation code the op popped you so you can setup more conferences in the future. Thats all I have to say, enjoy my friend and use this knowledge wisely.
