The files on this disk are supplied in plain ASCI text, formatted to be viewed with the included "SEE" program. Press the "H" key for a list of commands. 2. To start the A-Z of Cellular Programing simply type SEE from the DOS prompt while in the CELLULAR directory, Ie: cd\cellular (enter) see (enter) You may also type SEE followed by the file name you wish displayed, the TXT extension is NOT required, Ie: see index (enter) 3. Refer to the INDEX sheet for a description of each file. You can also view or print the file "INDEX.TXT" for easy reference to file contents. Each file contains complete programing instructions for the phones listed in the Index, a basic understanding of cellular terminology is required to use these instructions. Read the file "DEFINIT.TXT" for definitions on the terms used within the instructions. Where possible every set of instructions uses the following format for ease of use: 1. Manufacturers name and phone model numbers. 2. NOTES: general information such as ESN prefix, number of NAMS and manufacturers contact phone number. 3. NAM PROGRAMING: Step by step information on accessing programing mode, storing data, incrementing each step and exiting programing mode. 4. PROGRAMING DATA: Four columns containing the Step number, number of digits and legal range of the entry, what the display shows (where relevant), and a description of each entry. 5. NOTES: any notes following the programing data refer to special instructions for certain steps. 6. Each file ends with instructions on locking, unlocking and A/B system selection (when known). UPDATES Updates are produced on a quarterly basis. You will receive these updates, or a notification of there availability, depending on which package you purchased.
