Copy DVD to DVD-R using DVD Decrypter (DVDs smaller than 4.36GB)

Ok, this guide describes the definitely easiest method for backing up DVD-Video discs to DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R or DVD+RW discs. Basically we use just one tool for the whole process, called DVD Decrypter which can rip the movie, create an ISO DVD image file and burn that image file back to blank DVD media. You should remember, that this method can only be used for DVDs that are smaller than 4.36GB in size including all the files on the DVD. If you have DVDs that you want to backup, but are larger than 4.36GB, please check our other guides for more information.

Requirements

Obviously you need to have a DVD writer that supports either DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R or DVD+RW format. Secondly, you need to have at least 4.36GB of free HDD space on ONE partition (file system doesn't matter any more). And finally, you need to have the DVD Decrypter. You also need to have a working ASPI layer on your computer. If you don't, please read our guide on installing ASPI before proceeding.
