Chronology of KLA's Terrorism and Aggression 1996 April 22: Blagoje Okulic, a Serb refugee from Croatia, was sitting with a friend in a cafe when a masked member of the KLA opened fire on the customers with an automatic weapon. Okulic and two other guest latter died in hospital. He was the first victim of the KLA. Armand Daci (20), an ethnic Albanian student in dentistry school, was shot and killed by a sniper fire. June 16: In an attack against a police patrol near Podujevo police officer Goran Mitrovic was heavily wounded. June 17: Around 11:55 PM a police patrol in the village of Sipolje near Kosovska Mitrovica was attacked, resulting in the killing of Predrag Djordjevic (28) from Krusevac, and the wounding of Zoran Vukocic (30) from Nis. Police officer Predrag Djordjevic left his wife and child. The same day a bomb was hurled at the police station in Luzani, and the police officers on duty in the station were fired on by automatic weapons. No one was injured. July 11: One hour after midnight in the center of Podujevo terrorists carried out an armed attack against police officers, resulting in a heavy wounding of police officer Sredoje Radojevic. August 2: Armed attack on three police stations in Pristina, Podujevo and the village of Krpimej around 10 PM August 28: Three bombs were hurled in the village of Celopek (border of the towns Pec-Klina-Decani), around 3 AM. No one was injured. In the village of Donje Ljupce police inspector Ejup Bajgora (44), an ethnic Albanian who worked at the Pristina Precinct, was shot and killed. August 31: In the night hours two bombs were hurled into the courtyard of the Yugoslav Army's barracks in Vucitrn. In the village of Rudnik, Srbica municipality an armed attack was carried out on the police station. In Podujevo, police officers at the juncture of the road Pristina-Podujevo-Kursumlija were fired on. No one was hit. The police station in Glogovac was fired on with automatic weapons. October 25: Two police officers were killed by automatic weapons near the village of Surkis in the Podujevo municipality Milos Nikolic (34), a police inspector of the Pristina Precinct, and Dragan Rakic from the village of Velika Reka, who was a police officer in the reserves and a manager of a company in Podujevo. KLA terrorist killed police officer Milos Nikolic in the front of his house. November 16: In the village of Rznic, Decani municipality, around 10:30 PM a terrorist attack was carried out on the police station. No one was killed. December 26: Faik Belopolja, an ethnic Albanian from Podujevo who was a forest worker in the Serbia Forest Service - "Srbija Sume", was shot and killed. 1997 January 9: In the center of Podujevo at 5:30 PM Malic Saholi (52), an ethnic Albanian who was the manager of the superamarket "Vocar" and a deputy in the municipal council of Podujevo as a member of the Socialist Party of Serbia, was shot and killed. January 11: In the Vucitrn village of Mijalic, around 7 PM more than 26 bullets were fired at the house of Ljubisa Mitrovic. No one was killed. January 13: Fazil Hasani, an ethnic Albanian forest worker from the village of Brabonic, Srbica municipality was shot in the neck. KLA terrorists killed him and issued a statement denouncing Hasani as a "traitor". January 16: Using remote-controlled explosives, the KLA attempted to assassinate the Dean of Pristina University, Mr. Radovan Papovic, at 8 AM as he was driving to the University. Both he and his driver Nikola Lalic were heavily wounded. The explosives were set off when their car was some 50 meters from Dean Papovic's apartment in Pristina. January 17: In the village of Reketnica, Srbica municipality, at 1 AM, ethnic Albanian Zen Durmisi (52) was shot and killed and his son Nazmi Durmisi was heavily wounded. The Durmisi family was labeled "pro-Yugoslav" by the terrorist KLA. February 1: KLA terrorists from a moving vehicle fired on police officers. The officers fired back and killed all three terrorists. March 5: At 10:47 AM, in front of the Pristina University School of Languages, a bomb in a container exploded. Four people were wounded, two ethnic Albanians Adrijana Dremka and Lindita Maksuti and two ethnic Serbs, Borivoje Popovic and Ivan Maksimovic. A second explosives device weighing 4.2 kilograms, which had been placed at the base of the Vuk Karadzic monument in front of the School of Languages, was found and deactivated by members of the Anti-Ballistics Unit of the Pristina Precinct. March 21: Around 8 PM, in the center of Podujevo, KLA terrorists fired five shots at police officer Branislav Milovanovic, wounding him heavily. In a statement, the KLA claimed responsibility denouncing officer Milovanovic as a "Serbian policeman, well known blood-sucker and anti-Albanian". March 25: Near the village Sicevo, Klina municipality, a group of attackers killed ethnic Albanians Jusuf Haljiljaj and Fehmi Haziraj (who were well known as loyal citizens of Serbia) and wounded ethnic Albanian Mehmet Gasi. April 10: In the village of Banjica near Glogovac, using automatic firearms, KLA terrorists killed ethnic Albanian Ramiz Ljeka, who worked at the Glogovac Municipal Council. May 6: Around 10:30 PM in the village of Lozica near Klina, ethnic Albanian Hetem Dobruna (30), a farmer from the village, was shot and killed. May 16: In Srbica near Kosovska Mitrovica police officers Miomir Kicovic and Radisav Blanic were shot and heavily wounded. June 19: On the Pristina - Podujevo - Nis road near the village of Donje Ljupce in the Podujevo municipality, terrorists fired 12 bullets from automatic weapons at a police patrol. No one was injured. July 3: In the village of Trstenik, Glogovac municipality, in the early morning hours the KLA shot and killed ethnic Albanian Ali Calapek, a farmer who was a member of the Socialist Party of Serbia and a member of the local Election Commission in the 1996 elections. July 21: The Assistant District Attorney in Pec, Miroljub Petrovic, was shot and killed. August 3: A police vehicle was fired on at 7 PM, in the village of Bradis, which is 10 kilometers from Podujevo. August 4: At 9:30 AM, on the road from the village of Rudnik to Srbica, KLA terrorists from Drenica fired on a police vehicle using automatic weapons. Police officers Milomir Dodic and Zoran Boskovic were heavily wounded, and a civilian who was in the car was lightly wounded. August 23: Forest worker Sadi Morina, employee in Serbian Forest Service - "Srbija Sume", an ethnic Albanian, was killed in Srbica. Mr. Morina had already been receiving threats from KLA terrorists for a long time because he remained to work "in the service of Serbia". August 24: In the village of Zub near Djakovica an ethnic Albanian, Kcira Ndue (32), was shot and killed, while his brother Bekim Ndue was wounded. The police station in the village of Rznic near Decani was sprayed with gunfire. September 2: At 10:55 PM Ljimon Krasnici, an ethnic Albanian denounced by the KLA terrorists as a "traitor", was killed in his home. September 12: A dozen attacks were carried out on police stations in the municipalities of Pec, Glogovac, Decani, and Djakovica around 11 PM No one was injured. September 13: Around 10 PM a hand grenade was hurled at the police station in Luzano, near Podujevo. September 14: A hand grenade was hurled at the police station in Kijevo, near Klina. September 23: Around 11 AM in the vicinity of the village of Kijevo, the KLA opened fire on a motorized police patrol. Milan Stanojevic, the commander of the Djakovica Precinct, was in the vehicle. No one was injured. October 13: The police station in Calopek near Pec was attacked. October 16: Around 1:30 AM there was a terrorist attack on the police station in the village of Klincina, which lies on the road Pec-Pristina. Adrijan Krasnici (25) from Vranovci near Pec died in the ensuing gun battle. October 17: Around 1 AM the residential community Babaloc, located between Decani and Djakovica, where 120 Serbian refugee families who fled from Albania several years ago are situated, was attacked. October 20: The KLA claimed responsibility for attacks on police stations in Babaloc, Calopek, and Klincina, as well as police patrols in Gerlica near Urosevac and Balinac near Klina. November 18: Around 7 PM in the village of Komoran near Glogovac, Camil Gasi, an ethnic Albanian deputy in the Parliament of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and the chairman of the Municipal Board of the Socialist Party of Serbia for Glogovac, was wounded heavily. His driver was wounded as well. November 25: KLA terrorists held the police station in Srbica surrounded for 15 hours. Around 7 PM in Decani, and after midnight in the village of Rznic, two terrorist attacks were carried out in which police officer Dragic Davidovic (32) from Berane was killed, and Ljubisa Ilic from Srbica, also a policeman, was heavily wounded. Police officer Dragic Davidovic was father of three children. Bojan Trboljevac from Leposavic, Srdjan Pavlovic (26) from Zubin Potok, and Nedeljko Aksentijevic (30) from Kragujevac were lightly wounded. December 4: The KLA claimed responsibility for an attack on Pristina Airport, claiming that it shot down a "Cessna 310" on November 26 killing all five people on-board. December 15: Around 1 AM on the road Srbica-Klina three masked KLA terrorists stopped a convoy of three cars with 16 Serbian civilian passengers. According to the civilians' testimonies, the terrorists who were armed with machine-guns and hand grenades threatened them with death. December 19: Around 6 PM on the road Klina-Srbica, near the village of Josanica, eight masked and heavily armed KLA terrorists stopped the car of the civilian Milan Sapic from Lazarevac threatening, insulting, and searching his family and him. December 25: Two terrorist attacks were carried out shortly after 3 PM against police officers in the Podujevo municipality: In the village of Zakut a police vehicle was fired on, and in the center of Podujevo explosives devices were hurled at the residential building where police officers live. There were no victims. 1998 January 4: The KLA claimed responsibility for a series of terrorist activities in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia: planting a bomb in front of the police station in Prilep, which caused no injuries but demolished five cars; attacking the police station in Kumanovo; and attacking the Municipal Court in Gostivar on December 16, '97. January 9: Around 9:10 PM in the village of Stepenice, municipality of Klina, unidentified perpetrators ambushed and killed with machine guns Djordje Belic (49) from the same village while he was in the back yard of his family home. Belic was the head of one of the three remaining Serbian households in that village. January 12: Around 8 AM, in the vicinity of the village Gradac near Glogovac in Drenica, forest worker Sejdi Muja (51), employee in Serbian Forest Service - "Srbija Sume", an ethnic Albanian, was shot and killed. He and another Albanian had been stopped by a masked and armed three member group of KLA terrorists, and after checking his ID card established that Muja was on their list of "traitors". They dragged him out of the car and shot him by firing 28 shots into him from a machine gun, leaving his body by the road. He was a "traitor" just because he worked in the Serbia Forest Service. Around 00:05 AM, in Stimlje a terrorist attack was launched with machine guns on a building (former primary school) in which 6 police officers of Stimlje Police and their families live. No one was injured in the attack. Out of a total of 30 shots fired, 10 hit the building with 2 of them ending up inside the apartment of police officer Vesko Ristovic. January 13: The KLA issued a statement stating that its headquarters was in Pristina, announced that it would expand its actions into Montenegro. Around 12:15 AM in the territory of the Kozice village, municipality of Srbica, seven masked people armed with machine guns intercepted around a TV mast Jordan Nicic, forest worker of Serbian Forest Service - "Srbija Sume", territory of Srbica. They asked him to light them a cigarette. One of them caught both of his arms from behind while the other attacker took his gun from the belt in order to threaten him and forbid him to come to this area. January 14: The headquarters of the Socialist Party of Serbia for Djakovica were stoned overnight, January 13/14. All windows were broken. These were greetings for the "Serbian New Year" which is marked on January 13. January 16: Around 5:30 PM in the village of Lausa, municipality of Srbica, three unidentified attackers stopped a "Mercedes" motor car bearing German number plates, driven by Djavid Salja (49) of Pristina. His girlfriend was with him in the car. Unidentified perpetrators wearing camouflage uniforms and black hoods on their heads, armed with machine guns, took Salja out of the vehicle telling him that he went to spy on them and that they were going to execute him. They told him get in the car with them and he obeyed. After driving for several kilometers, the vehicle got stuck in the mud, the hooded gunman took Salja out and beat him with rifle butts, punched him and kicked him all over his body inflicting minor bodily harm on him and they walked away. January 19: In Srbica all graves at the Serbian Orthodox Cemetery were desecrated and vandalized. The monuments at the graves were completely destroyed. January 21: Enver Hoti of the Josanica village, municipality of Klina, reported to the duty officer at Klina police station, Pec PD, that at about 3 PM, he noticed a "Mercedes" car, registration KM 65-85, on the village road leading to the village of Bica. A male body was in the car. A police team with the investigating judge of the District Court in Pec went to the site. They established that the victim was Desimir Vasic (50) of the village of Korilje, Municipality of Zvecan, was an entrepreneur and councilor in the Zvecan Council. The Albanian terrorists fired 26 shots into him from machine gun. January 22: After a KLA patrol had been stopping, harassing, and threatening citizens with death in the Srbica municipality the previous night, there was a confrontation between that patrol and a patrol of police officers. While chasing the KLA terrorists, who barricaded themselves in the house of Saban Jasari in the village of Donji Prekaz near Srbica, police officers killed the terrorist Hasan Mandzol and lightly wounded two Jasari brothers. A three-member KLA group kidnapped the taxi driver Metus Skodru, an ethnic Albanian, and then took his cab, an Audi 90. They told him he could buy his cab back if he showed up at a designated place at a designated time, under the threat that he would be liquidated if he called the police. Around 1 PM in the village of Lausa, municipality of Srbica, five unidentified hooded persons armed with machine guns (one of them was wearing a camouflage uniform) stopped an official car owned by DP "Kosovo sirovina". The manager of the company Dragutin Pavicevic and his driver Petko Sarevic were in the car. The unidentified perpetrators checked their ID's and searched the car and the passengers. They introduced themselves as members of the KLA. While the car was searched there were another 10 armed terrorists on the elevation on their left-hand side. Around 2:50 PM in the village of Lausa, municipality of Srbica, hooded persons armed with machine guns intercepted and "Opel-vectra" vehicle having Kosovska Mitrovica number plates and driven by Dragisa Rakic (48) of the village of Zupce, Municipality of Zubin Potok. After the vehicle was stopped, eight other persons wearing civilian clothes and hoods emerged from the undergrowth nearby. They also carried machine guns. After checking the ID and searching Dragisa Rakic and another ethnic Albanian whom the former picked up as a hitchhiker in the nearby village of Lausa, they swore at them and cursed them. Rakic was also issued a threat not to drive in the territory of the "Kosovo Republic". In the region of Watchtower D. Jankovic, one person illegally penetrated Yugoslav territory for 100 metres. When stopped, he fled towards the Albanian border throwing down a bag containing an automatic gun and 910 bullets. January 23: In the night, on the road Srbica-Klina near the village of Josanica, Desimir Vasic, a deputy in the Municipal Assembly of Zvecan was shot and killed. On the same road, the same night, near the village Lausa Blagoje Nikolivc (47) from the village of Drsnik near Klina was severely beaten until he became unconscious. During the same night, KLA terrorists stopped, harassed, and threatened with death a group of Serbian women heading to Monastery Devic. January 24: At around 7:50 PM, in the village of Malisevo, municipality of Orahovac, unidentified perpetrators carried out a terrorist attack with machine guns on the police patrol of Orahovac police within the Prizren PD. The patrolling officers were Bozidar Damjanovic, Zvonko Djordjevic and Goran Miladinovic who were in an official moving vehicle. The police officers returned fire with machine guns. Police officers Damjanovic and Djordjevic were wounded. January 25: In the village of Turicevac, municipality Srbica, at around 7:30 PM, seven unidentified hooded persons wearing camouflage uniforms and armed with machine guns entered the shop where Haljim Sahiti of the village of Gornji Obilic, Municipality of Srbica, is a watchman. At gunpoint they took away Haljim's hunting rifle and handgun and they drove away in "Golf" and "Ascona" vehicles. Later at around 8:40 PM, in the village of Grabanica, municipality of Klina, a terrorist attack was mounted with a rocket launcher on the house owned by Jagos Djuricic of Klina police. A rocket was fired on the house from wooded area from a distance of about 200 metres. The roof was hit and the ensuing explosion caused a material damage of some 1500 DM. At the time of the blast, his wife with two small children was in the house. There were no casualties. January 26: In the vicinity of the village of Turicevac, which is located between Klina and Srbica, KLA terrorists opened fire using automatic weapons on a helicopter belonging to Serbia's Ministry of Internal Affairs. Around 8:55 PM in the Danilo Kis Street in Urosevac, unidentified perpetrators threw an explosive into the backyard of the family home of Sinisa Marjanovic, where (in a separate house in the same backyard) a security officer from Urosevac Rajko Doder lives with his wife. There were no casualties. January 27: Two unidentified persons in fatigues, around 7 AM, in the vicinity of the village of Banjica, municipality of Glogovac, intercepted Isuf Kukic from Trstenik village, who was hunting. They seized his gun and left the scene for an unknown destination. Around 11:30 AM at the place of Turicevac, municipality of Srbica, unidentified persons stopped "Zastava 640" freight truck having Kraljevo number plates and driven by Veroslav Vukojicic and his neighbors Radmila and Zvezdana Vukajlovicof Raska. The unidentified persons of whom one wore camouflage uniform trousers and all armed with machine guns took away Vukojicic's ID documents, his bank card, 500 DMand a wrist watch while checking his identity. They beat him with machine guns and rubber truncheons inflicting slight injuries to his head. Around 12:50 PM within the territory of the Turicevac village, municipality Srbica, small arms fire was opened by several terrorists at the Republic of Serbia Interior Ministry's helicopter. Apart from the crew, officers of the Pristina PD Vlado Todorovic, Slavisa Manojlovic, Dragan Besevic and Bratislav Dikic were also on board. In order to repel the attack, the police officers returned fire with machine guns, automatic rifles and handguns. After landing, the crew noticed that the helicopter took a hit in the engine area. January 28: At around 6:20 AM in the village of Istinic, municipality of Decani, authorized officers of Decani police and Pec security officers searched the family home of Arif Tahirsuljaj in order to arrest members of this family who belonged to an illegal hostile organization and to confiscate the weapons they held illegally. While the police were closing in on the house brothers Naser (20) and Arben Tahirsuljaj (18) opened fire from the second floor with an automatic rifle and handgun at two Pec security officers and three police officers. Police officer Ilija Buric was hit but the bullet lodged in his flak-jacket and he remained unscathed. Decani police officers and Pec security officers opened fire to repel the attack and no one was injured. The search of the house found an automatic rifle with ammunition, three handguns, an air rifle, hunting ammunition, 150 g of gunpowder, one army rucksack, a gas mask and a "pony" binoculars which were all confiscated. The attackers were taken into custody and handed over to Pec security officers. That evening, KLA terrorists fired at the house of Dragoljub Spasic in the village of Sibovac near Obilic. February 2: In Kosovska Mitrovica Nebojsa Vlahovic (36) was heavily beaten in front of his flat. February 5: In the village Studenica, near Istok, terrorist attacked Studenica Hvostanska monastery. February 8: Ten masked gunmen armed with automatic rifles, at around 10 PM came to the backyard of a family house owned by Ramaj Redjep (48) in the village of Trdevac, municipality of Glogovac. They threatened Ramaj demanding his hunting rifle and gun that he had license for and his father Sinan obeyed. After surrendering the arms the unidentified persons said they were members of the KLA. February 10: A group of KLA terrorists appeared at a fundraising event for the KLA in New York City. They received funding from over 150 Albanians attending the event. On that occasion, the KLA terrorists proclaimed that they had killed 50 Serbian police officers and "corrupt" Albanians in 1997. Between 7 PM and 8 PM a number of masked gunmen entered the houses owned by Muljaj Ramadan, Kukuci Imer, Kukuci Salih, Kukuci Bajram and Kukuci Rizah in the village of Trstenik, municipality Glogovac and threatening them with arms demanded that they surrendered arms. They complied and gave them a hunting rifles for which they all had proper licenses. February 12: Around 10 AM in the village of Turicevac, municipality of Srbica, a passenger vehicle "Moskvich Aleko" with foreign registration plates was stopped. The car was driven a Bulgarian national Angel Borisov (35) and he had two other passengers in the car. Their vehicle was stopped by another "Lada" vehicle with no registration plates, which overtook the first car. An unidentified person armed with an automatic rifle and a handgun came out of the car. He ordered them to turn the vehicle and take the first side road. The driver asked them that Marija Petrova and Atanaska Lazareva do not go with them, as they were afraid. The unidentified person that order Angel to go over to "Lada" by himself and they took the side road. They put some sort of a hood on Angels head. After a while, Angel was released. Nothing was taken from Bulgarian nationals. February 13: Around 7 AM in the village of Gornje Obrinje, municipality of Glogovac, Mustaf Kurtaj (27) from the same village, employ of the post office was killed by the Albanian terrorists. A few unidentified persons waited for Mustafa on a bus station at the time when he usually left for work and shot him several times from an automatic rifle. Prior to this, he had been repeatedly warned by KLA terrorists that they would kill him unless he quit his job at the state-run post office. A number of masked gunmen came to the house owned by Bibaj Mikelj from the village of Renovac, around 10 PM municipality Klina, and threatening him with arms asked Mikelj, former police officer of Kosovska Mitrovica PD, to surrender arms. Since he did not have any, they took him to the house of Hilj Jaku from whom they seized a hunting rifle threatening him with arms and a handgun from his son Jaku Marjan. After that the went to the house of Merdita Pren from whom they sized a hunting rifle, then to the house of Kuci Djerdj and seized a handgun, and Lek two hunting guns and a gun from the house of Kciraj Zef a hunting rifle. Around 11 PM a number of masked gunmen came to the house owned by Lek Kuci in the village of Leskovac, municipality of Klina, and threatened Kuci asking him to surrender arms. He complied and gave them two hunting rifles and a handgun. Jonus Velici, working as tax collector was heavily beaten in Klina. February 15: Nik Abdulahu, an ethnic Albanian employee of the Serbia Electric Utility, was shot and killed while at work, at the electricity substation in the village of Staro Cikatovo near Glogovac. February 16: At 6 AM unidentified persons fired from Albanian territory several rounds (at least five) on Yugoslav territory in the direction of Watchtower Dejan Radanovic, Djakovica. Several bullets landed on the roof of the watchtower without causing any damage.Around noon in the village of Lausa, municipality of Srbica, 3 unidentified gunmen armed with automatic rifles stopped a freight vehicle bearing Novi Pazar registration plates, driven by Idajet Camic accompanied by Alibasic Nusret. The unidentified persons asked them to produce ID's and let them go. At around 10:35 PM at the security check point in the village of Pogradje, municipality of Klina, 5-6 unidentified perpetrators staged a terrorist attack with machine guns on the Republic of Serbia Interior Ministry officers. Police officers used firearms to repel the attack. No police officer sustained any injuries. On the Skadar Lake (Boyo 16), a boat with three persons came from the direction of Albania, illegally penetrating Yugoslav territorial waters for 150 metres. February 18: In the night terrorists collected firearms from ethnic Albanians in Drenica, for whom they suspected that they did not support their cause. Those who did not turn over their weapons were given a deadline to do so, "otherwise," they were told, "you will be shot". The police checkpoint near the village Dobre Vode in the Klina municipality was attacked with automatic weapons. February 19: KLA terrorists hurled bombs at a refugee center in Decani housing Serbian civilians who were ethnically cleansed from Croatia. Around 3:55 PM on the Kosovska Mitrovica-Pec road, at the Kec Potok location, municipality of Srbica, three masked gunmen stopped a passenger car driven by Zoran Boskovic of Srbica police. Having searched the car and passengers in it, they took away Boskovic's official weapon and allowed them to continue their journey to Kosovska Mitrovica. Around 3:30 PM on the Podujevo-Pristina motor road, near the village of Donje Ljupce, municipality of Podujevo, unidentified terrorists ambushed a moving passenger car, killing Nebojsa Cvejic (34), a Pristina security police officer. He left three month pregnant wife. Around 4 PM in the village of Vitak, municipality of Srbica, five persons stopped a passenger vehicle driven by Tomasevic Goran (27) from the village of Suvo Grlo, and then the "Kosovotrans" bus operating Srbica-Suvo Grlo direction, which came in the meantime. They order all passengers whose surnames were Tomasevic, Kovacevic and Jokic to come out of the bus. After they got out, they lined them up and threatened that they would shoot them. After a while they allowed them to proceed. Around 8 PM on the Klina-Djakovica road near the village of Kramovik, municipality of Orahovac, five masked gunmen stopped a passenger car driven by Milenko Kandic of Decani police. Goran Perisic of the Krstovac village, municipality of Pec, was Kandic's passenger. Believing to be inspected by police officers, Kandic showed his official ID and the unidentified perpetrators order him out of the vehicle and physically attacked him and his passenger Perisic. Fifteen minutes later, they ordered them back into the vehicle and told them not report the case to the police because they would be killed. In village Pogradje ethnic Albanian Rifat Chuaeu was heavaly beaten and robed in his supermarket by KLA terrorist. February 20: Around 1:30 PM on the Klina-Srbica road, in the village of Lausa, municipality of Srbica, a number of masked gunmen launched a terrorist attack on persons riding in a freight motor vehicle bearing Kosovska Mitrovica registration plates. The attack was carried out by automatic firearms, and Murat Dajakaj (38) from Rakitica village, riding in a co-driver seat was killed whereas driver Miletic Milan (53) continued to drive unharmed. On the road Srbica-Klina, near the village of Lausa at around 4 PM, municipality Srbica, unidentified masked persons carried out a terrorist attack against persons riding in a freight vehicle with Prizren registration plates, killing from automatic weapons Ristic Milorad (60) from Djakovica, while Djuricic Zdravko (42) from Velika Hoca, municipality of Orahovac sustained minor injuries. Around 7 PM four unidentified masked persons armed with automatic rifles came to the house of Krasnici Haljit from Gladno Selo, municipality of Glogovac, and seized his hunting rifle for which he had a proper license. Around 10:00 PM in the village of Berkovo, municipality of Klina, unidentified perpetrators fired several sots from machine guns in the direction of the home of Labud Zivkovic, a police officer from Klina, Pec PD. At the time of the attack, Zivkovic was about to go to work. Machine gun fire was opened from an unidentified passenger vehicle that sped away at high speed in the direction of Klina. There were no casualties. February 21: At around 3 PM unidentified persons in a "Lada" vehicle came to the house of Recaj Alija and after a brief conversation took him to the above placed and killed him by an automatic rifle. He had refused to give in to the KLA's earlier warnings and blackmail that he quit his job. Near farm "Dobra voda", municipality Klina, around 5:45 PM three unidentified persons killed Recaj Alija (38) from the Sicevo village, municipality of Klina. February 22: Around 7 PM two unidentified masked persons armed with automatic rifles presenting themselves as KLA came to the house of Beris Hazir in the village of Gladno Selo, municipality of Glogovac, threatened and took a hunting rifle from Hazir for which he had a proper licence. February 26: Using hand grenades and automatic weapons, terrorists attacked Serbian refugees from Albania housed in the refugee camp Babaloc, located on the road Decani - Djakovica. February 27: KLA terrorists attacked the houses in Srbica where Serbian refugees from Croatia are temporarily housed. At Monastery Devic, KLA terrorists harassed the head nun for 30 minutes. They ordered her to tell the police that they will all be killed. A KLA warehouse containing 12 kilograms of explosives with clocks, several trunks of shells and over 120 rocket launchers was discovered in Prizren. Several terrorists were arrested. Around 9:50 PM in the Kralja Petra Street in Srbica unidentified perpetrators staged a terrorist attack on police officers providing security protection to a facility accommodating displaced persons. The attack was carried out with machine guns. Police officers used firearms to repel the attack. There were no injuries on the part of police officers in the attack. February 28: Refugee center at Babaloc near Decani were targeted by KLA terrorist, that was second attack that week and fifth this year. Between 11:30 AM and 12:20 PM on the Likosane village road, municipality of Glogovac three simultaneous armed terrorist attacks were launched by Albanian separatists on the police. At about 11:30 AM a Ministry official car was ambushed and attacked with rocket launchers and machine guns. Police officers Goran Milicevic, Milan Simic and Milan Djeric were in the vehicle. The nearest police patrol went to the scene to rescue them and was attacked in the village of Likosane for the second time. Police officers Miroslav Vujkovic (27) father of two, and Goran Radojcic (29) father of six months old baby, were killed and police officers Pavle Damjanovic and Slavisa Matejic were seriously wounded. An armoured vehicle was sent to the village as a back-up to the patrol under attack. While approaching the village at about 12:20 PM, the vehicle was attacked from nearby houses with a rocket launcher and machine guns. After these attacks, Interior Ministry officers sealed off the facilities and the area where the attacks were perpetrated. During the blockade and catching of terrorists, police officers Milan Jovanovic (27) and Radoica Ivanovic (28), father of tree (5 year old doughtier and two sons of four and two years) were gravely wounded and they succumbed to the injuries they received. The terrorists opened fire at the Interior Ministry helicopter from which police officers returned fire. In order to repulse the attack police officers used fire arms and killed 16 terrorists while catching nine of them. Interior Ministry officials took five persons into custody in Prizren. They found larger amounts of weapons, mines and explosives as well as other devices intended for terrorist acts hidden by them. In addition, the searches of the area and the houses from where armed terrorist attacks on police officers were mounted as well as the facilities used by terrorists, revealed two machine guns, four rifles, 130 hand grenades, 24 mortar shells, 13 kilograms of explosives, 40 detonating caps, 16 boxes of fuse, three timers, about 3,000 rounds of ammunition and 80 hand grenade detonators. Around 7:10 PM in the village of Donji Ratis, municipality of Decani, a terrorist attack on the house of Culafic Nastadin was launched by unidentified persons. They fired a cumulative grenade from a distance of 30 m from his house. It hit the roof and made a crater in the wall. After that the unidentified attackers fired several burst of fire, three of them hit the house. There were no injured persons. Material damage is estimated at 700DM. Around 7:40 PM in the village of Donji Ratis, municipality of Decani, a terrorist attack was launched on the house owned by Cazim Salja. The perpetrators were several unidentified persons who fired a rocket from a portable rocket-launcher. The shell hit the roof of the house, inflicting minor material damage. There were no injuries. March 1: House of Serb Nede Nedovica came under attack of KLA. Refugee center in Decani was bomb again. House of ethnic Gani Shalje was attack with hand grandees. Around 9:50 PM the Krpimej police station, Podujevo PD, came under an armed terrorist attack. An unidentified perpetrator fired a burst of machine gun fire in the direction of the police station. Police officers returned fire. There were no injuries in the attack. Around 10.15 PM, in the village of Erec, municipality of Djakovica, an armed terrorist attack was staged against the home of Tomislav Lukic (59), a retired police officer. The perpetrators were several Albanian terrorists who fired one self-propelling rocket and several shots from a machine gun hitting the house while the owner was in it. No one was injured. March 2: In the village Krusevac near Pec Bosko (18) and Prko Boskovic, father and son were heavily beaten. University library in Pristina was stoned. In the village Istok four members of KLA broke to house of Imer Ferizja (60) and stole his lifetime saving of 700 DM. He refused to pay 'tax' to terrorist. Using wood sticks KLA heavily beat his wife Bianka (58) and granddaughter Nisena (16). Later that day in the village Pogranje, Renovac and Leskovac terrorist carry weapon action. They took legally own hunting riffles from Albanians Lek Kuci, Marjan Jakaj, Pren Mirditaj, Kolj Kciraj and Djerdj Kuci. Mikelj Bobaj and Rifat Cupeljaj, Albanians of catholic religion who did not support terrorism were heavily beaten. Around 1 AM in the village of Dobri Do, municipality of Klina, one shell was fired into the roof of the family home owned by Radmila Belic inflicting material damage. Several rounds were also fired from machine guns in the direction of the house. She is wife of Djordje Belic; a Serb killed on 9th January. Around 1:10 AM, in the village of Bec, municipality of Djakovica, a terrorist attack was launched with a rocket launcher and machine guns at the houses of Blagoje Djakovic, Radisav Mitic and Bosko Lakic. There were no casualties. Around 1:30 AM, in the village of Papracani, municipality of Decani, a terrorist attack was mounted with a rocket launcher and machine guns at the house owned by Gani Salja. The roof and the wall of the house were damaged. There were no injuries in the attack. Around 2 AM, in the village of Dolovo, municipality of Klina, the home of Dragoje Garic came under attack from a rocket launcher. One shell was fired which hit the roof damaging it. There were no casualties. Around 2:30 AM, in the village of Crmljane, municipality of Djakovica, a terrorist attack was launched with a rocket launcher, machine guns, and a hand grenade which did not explode. The target of the attack was the house owned by Radenko Fatic that was damaged in the attack. There were no injured persons. Fatic's son Branislav returned fire from a rifle, shooting at the terrorists. At the same time in the village of Kpuz, municipality of Klina, several rounds of machine gun fire were fired at the house owned by Dragan Nenadovic, hitting the facade and roof. At a distance of about 200 m from the house, one unfired shell was found. There were no casualties. Around 4 PM, in the village of Donji Ratis, municipality of Decani, several Albanian terrorists launched an armed terrorist attack at Slobodan Prascevic (53) of Djakovica, a retired police commander of Rznic police station, Decani DP. The terrorists ambushed him and fired several shots from machine guns at the car driven by Prascevic while Igbal Tahiraj and his son Antun Tahiraj, both from Donji Ratis, were in the vehicle. Prascevic was killed and Igbal Tahiraj sustained serious injuries. In the village of Erec, municipality Djakovica, around 4:15 AM, terrorist attack was staged with a rocket launcher and machine guns at the house owned by Tomislav Lukic (59), retired police officer. His home was damaged. Around 10:30 PM in the village of Krusevac, municipality of Pec, a terrorist attack was staged against Perko Boskovic (47) and his cousin Bosko Boskovic (20), both from the same village. The perpetrators were several Albanian terrorists who surprised them and beat them inflicting serious bodily harm on them. March 3: In the village Donji Istok tree mask man came to house of Albanian Binska Dekaja (70) asking him for 'tax'. After he refused to pay them saying that he is poor, they search his house, found his life saving of 100 DM and 35 DIN (Serbian value = 6 DM). March 4: In the village Jasici near Decani terrorist killed Kadrija Jasicia forest worker in Serbian Forest Service - "Srbija Sume", from that village. Hi was loyal Albanian in service to Serbia. March 5: In the village Ljubidzi near Istok barn of Slobodan Radivojevic was burnt. Police officers Zeljko Mrdalj, Zivko Tomic, Predrag Fabijanic, Nenad Sare, Zeljko Pavasovic, Nenad Vujosevic, Stevo Bogojevic and Miodrag Krtinic were heavaly wounded. Latter that day terrorist attacked with bombs house of Milija Premomovic in village Celopek near Pec. March 6: In the village Ljubidzi near Istok unknown terrorist fire shots at Ivica Blagojevic. March 7: Albanians shops that didn't obey KLA directive 'no one works' were destroyed in Pristina and Pec. At 1:35 AM in the region of Watchtower Morina, Djakovica, three armed persons illegally crossed into Yugoslavia. During the search for them, at 5 PM a group of armed persons (at least 20) opened fire from Albanian territory in the direction of the Yugoslav Army patrol. The patrol returned fire and the armed persons withdrew deeper into Albanian territory. There were no casualties. March 11: Two etnic Albanian womans got hurt when land mine exploded. KLA set the land mine on the road Srbica - Klina for police patrol. March 12: Grocery store of ethnic Albanian Redzepi Gunci in Kosovska Mitovica was wreck. House of Pera Delica in the village Ljug Bunar near Djakovica came under attack of KLA terrorist, Delic family responded with fire. The same thing happened to Fatic and Bahovic families in Crimljane near Pec. In the Novo Selo near Pec house of Jusufa Cenaja was shot at. Also Hamza Haziri worker of Serbia Forest Sevice "Srbija Sume" was stabbed. At 11:30 AM the border stone C-4 (53 GRB Djakovica) was turned over. The state mark of FRY was totally destroyed and the mark of the Republic of Albania turned towards FRY. Three masked persons did this. March 13: Terrorist attacks Albanians of catholic religion, Nikole Marjan from village Petrusan was heavily wounded and his wife Ana lightly. March 14: Another attack on catholic Albanian, Milica Toma. March 15: At 1:30 PM, unidentified persons violated the territorial waters of the Bojana river 300 metres downriver from Watchtower Bojana, 10 GRB Zoganj. The persons approached the watchtower's dock and attempted to steal a plastic boat. After warnings by border guards in the watchtower, fire was opened from the boat and from Albanian territory in the direction of the dock and the watchtower. The boat then drifted into the Albanian territorial waters of the Bojana river. There were no casualties. March 16: Near village Kijevo at around 8:20 PM police patrol was attacked, terrorists were using bombs and machine guns. Police officer Sinisa Arandjel was lightly wounded. Mihamet Avdijaja from village Gramocelj near Decani member of KLA was arrested. He was responsible war numbers of attacks on Serbian families and Albanians who don't support KLA. March 17: Terrorist robed Blagoje Jovanovic in the village Kosterc near Srbica, his family was harassed too. Later that day store of Zenelja Abazija was bomb, he didn't close his shop as KLA ordered. March 19: Ethnic Albanian demostartors demolish car of Prishtina TV station and stoned houses of Serbs. March 20: Mehmet Memcaja (34), Djemsita Krasnici (35), Dzeveta Berisa (37) Begusa Bajrami(30), Isa Berisa(35) and Hajredin Cangaja (35) were arrested in Prizren. They formed terrorist organization 'People front for Kosovo Republic', and they planed to plant a bomb to czar Dusan monument, explosive device failed to activate. In the village Brochno betwean Klina and Srbica KLA attacked police patrol. March 23: KLA terrorist gang with thirty members came from Albania illegally cross Serbian bored in the night of 22.-23. March, killed one police officer Miodrag Otovic (37). Police responded killing two terrorist - Hisen and Artan Mahmetaj and latter arresting one Rasia Selmani, capturing over 5000 bullets, Albanian uniforms and equipment. Miodrag Otovic was father of two, 13 year old doughtier and 10 year old son. This attack was no accident. It was well planed - the plan was to provoke much bigger police anti terrorist action, that would brought sanctions for Serbia because Contact Group meeting was schedule for that week. Sultan terrorist leader, who was in charge after Adem Jasari was killed. In the village Dubrava house of the only remains Serb family Obradovic was attacked. In the house of Elmira Haridinaja were terrorist base was settled, police killed tree terrorist and arrested eleven. Police officers Valencia Radosavljevic and Filip Raicevic were lightly wounded. March 24: Police officers Rajko Rajkovic and Sinisa Vidic were heavaly wounded and officers Filip Raicevic, Slobodan Jokic, Milan Jevitc, Miroslav Vulic and Vladica Radosavljevic lightly at around 3:45 PM in village Glodjane. Police was attacked by hand grenades and sniper fire. March 25: Another KLA terrorist gang try to cross Serbian - Albanian border near Djakovica, this time they attacked post of Yugoslav Army. No one of soldiers was hurt, but terrorist had heavy losses. In Djakovica house of family Obradovic was bombed again, this time targets were ten children from Obradovic family. Police patrol in the near village Kijevo police patrol was attacked. In the village Hercegovo near Vucitrn, Serb Andrija Jokanovic (61) was attack by KLA terrorist. April 1: A group of Albanian citizens violated Yugoslav territory in the region of Watchtower Krstac, Prizren. After the border patrols intervened, the group withdrew into Albania. April 2, 3: An unidentified aircraft from Albania along the Suva Reka - Pristina route, violated Yugoslav air space. This proves that Albania is supporting terrorism, and provoking military intervention of Yugoslav side. April 4: Six ethnic Albanians were found dead on the Malisevo-Orahovac road near the village of Carevac. Their families reported them missing from April 2nd. They were loyal to Serbian State, tortured, beaten and then killed by KLA. Salji Berisa, Bajram Berisa, Fadilj Zogaj, Ramadan Zogaj, Brahim Zogaj and Brahim Suljaj were shot dead from an automatic weapon. The remaining terrorists in Drenica launched three attacks on a police check point near the village of Josanica and another one in the village of Brocna. The terrorists opened sniper and automatic gunfire at the police. No one was hurt in the attacks. April 7: An Albanian citizen entered Yugoslav territory in the region of Watchtower Danilo Jankovic. After the Yugoslav border patrols intervened, he threw down his bag and fled into Albania. The bag contained an automatic gun and three rounds of bullets. Attack happened on the road of Suva Reka - Stimlje. Luckily no one was killed. April 13: One policeman - Budimir Spasic was slightly wounded in an attack on the Serbian police station in the Pristina suburb of Vranjevac late on night. Eye witnesses said that assailants hurled hand grenades into the yard of the police station before escaping in a waiting car. In the village Budisavci, KLA broken to house of Uke Nazaj, ethinc Albanian. They kidnaped his son Radman and his wife Zoju. Raadman was hurrased and beaten up for several hours, and his mother Zoju Nazaj was rapped in front of him. April 14: Police officer Dragos Tomovic was heavaly wounded in village Donje Stanovce. April 15: In the village Stupelj near Klina a large group of mask terrorist broke to house of one gypsy family asking father of the family to give them weapons. After searching his house they found photo of Serbian deputy minister and leader of Radical party Vojislav Seselj, he was heavily beaten, then order to eat that photo. His 16 year old doughtier Z.B. was raped. They said "that is punishment for supporting Serbs". April 16: Border patrol came across a group of smugglers transporting weapons on seven mules. They were warned loudly to surrender, but responded with machine gun fire. The army patrol then opened fire. They subsequently confiscated about 60 automatic rifles, four heavy machine guns, about 100 hand grenades and more than 10,000 rounds of ammunition. About ten masked terrorists attacked a household in the village of Iglarevo. The assailants took the family of Ramadan Baljaj into the yard of the house and demanded that Baljaj hand over all the weapons he had. Baljaj refused and the terrorists opened fire with machine guns. Baljaj returned the fire. He later told police that one of the attackers was killed and another injured. 60 year old Baljaj was also seriously injured and was taken to a Pristina hospital. April 18: Three ethnic Serbs were attacked. Dragoslav and Mijat Stojanovic and Veselin Stikovic had been kidnapped and beaten by a group of about 20 armed ethnic Albanians while trying to retrieve their personal belongings from their homes in the village of Dubrava, near Decani. The three men said the attackers took them to a nearby village and pummeled them with wooden and metal clubs. Doctors from a hospital in Pristina, the provincial capital, have confirmed the seriousness of the injuries and report that one of the men remains in critical condition. Five masked and armed men stopped a private touring bus on the road between Urosevac and Gnjilane in Kosovo. The bus, which was carrying passengers from the province who work outside of Yugoslavia, was stopped at a improvised roadblock set up by the bandits. The five men, who spoke Albanian, ordered the passengers to get off the vehicle and lie on the ground. The bandits succeeded in taken around 10,000 DM from the passengers who were then allowed to return to the bus and sent on their way. The bus driver and passengers report that the robbers wore military uniforms and were carrying machine guns. They were stopped near village Pozar, were terrorist told them to consider themselves as hostages. Albanian terrorist started their ethnic cleansing campaign in Srbica area. Serbs are being attacked, threatened with dead and family members are being held as hostages. April 21: KLA terrorist again attacked refugee settlement Babaloc. Family's Ivanovic from Maznik, Stijovic and Dabetic from Ljumbarda are being kidnapped and hold as hostages by KLA. April 22: Albanian nationals armed with machine guns opened fire on Yugoslav Army troops near the Yugoslav Albanian border. Two terrorists were killed and seven wounded. In the village Dasinovac near Decani a large group of Albanian terrorist kidnapped Rosa and her son Sinisa Radosevic, and in near by village Ljumbarda they kidnapped Novak Stiljovic. They were harassed and brutally beaten in the village Glodjane, later terrorist left them near Prilep, Decani. Families Fatic and Babovic, village Crljanje, Djakovica responded to terrorist attack on their houses. Near village Babaloc terrorist set up barricade and attacked army border patrol. April 23: Police exchanged fire with Albanian terrorist in the village of Babaloc, terrorist attacked a police checkpoint. Albanian terrorists were armed with mortars and possibly anti-tank rocket launchers, which have been smuggled from Albania. Terrorist tried to attack Serbian refugees in that area. In the Dasinovac robed houses of Dasic and Markovic families and kidnapped Milos Radunovic father of the family. Around 5:45 AM, in the range of watchtower Kosare, a larger group of armed persons attempted to infiltrate the territory of Yugoslavia (around 200 persons led by Maljoki Naim, officer of the former Yugoslav People's Army). After they were ordered to halt, the persons opened fire on Yugoslav border guards. Fire was returned and the group broke into smaller ones. Twenty-two persons were eliminated and two Gazmend Tahiri (28) and Iber Metaj (37) from Erech village were caught. Identified killed KLA terrorist are Shefcet Alilaj (29), Bekim Alilaj, Hasan Tahiraj, Hajdar Skender (28), Gazmend Ramaj (26), Uk Sabani, Sadik Alilaj, Hasar Dinaj, Hajdar Tacaj (38), Vebi Hasanaj (31) all from village Erech. Army found ID cards of Gzim (22), Armendu (30) Hajdedjonaj, Beci (30), Imer Ljokaj (28) from village Slup, Bekim Mazrekaj (22), Dzemail Mazrekaj (29) from Decani. After combing the area, large quantities of arms and military equipment were found. The border unit did not sustain any casualties. At 8:45 AM, in the range of watchtowers Maja Conbani and Mitar Vojnovic, an armed group attempted to infiltrate from Albania into Yugoslavia. When ordered to halt, they opened fire on Yugoslav border guards. The Yugoslav border guards returned fire and the group withdrew to Albanian territory. Yugoslav border guards did not sustain any casualties. Serb Radomir Ivanovic was kiddnaped from the village Mazoik. April 24: Large group of Albanian KLA terrorist attacked police patrol in the village Turicevac near Klina. Policeman Milan Tenic (34) was killed, police officer Gligoreije Milanovic was heavily wounded and Miroslav Miletic lightly. In the village Klincina near Pec KLA terrorists killed Albanian Cerima Desku, he was loyal to Serbia and he voted on referendum. Families of ethnic Albanians catholic religion Mona, Zefra, Nua, Djona and Paska Aljijaja escaped from village Donji Ratis near Decani after they're been threaten with dead by KLA terrorist. Police patrol was attacked near Klincin. Terrorist targeted scoop station on Lake Radonjic near Djakovica. Main target was a soldier and magazine of chlorine, they tried to generate ecological catastrophe. April 25: Army came under fire near Lake Radonjic, close to the town of Djakovica. A Yugoslav Army statement said that the bullet volley lasted more than four hours. The Metropolitan of Montenegro and Adriatic coastal region Amfilohije and a group of nuns from Montenegrin convents accompanying him were intercepted twice by armed ethnic Albanians. Attack on a police checkpoint near Kijevo, on the Pristina-Pec road. The attack took place around 6 PM. Fire was opened from the nearby woods. One shell exploded near the checkpoint, lightly wounding one policeman Predrag Djukic. At around 10 PM, unidentified persons fired a shell from an arm-held rocket launcher which hit a window of hotel Toplice in Podujevo. Fortunately no one was hurt. The hotel is situated near a police checkpoint in Podujevo. Near Yugoslav Albanian border in Ponosovac, police arrested two terrorists, which illegally crossed the border, other two escaped. Albanian separatist try smuggling weapons on Montenegrin side of border near Kusti, they were stopped by border patrol. KLA terrorist kiddnaped Branko Stamatovic(69) near Decani, together with sistes Vujosevic. April 26: Ruzdi Ladrovci, an Albanian employed as a security guard in the Feronikl company, was killed in the village of Globare, near Glogovac. Ladrovci was ambushed and shot with an automatic gun. On the road Pristina Pec, KLA attacked police patrol around 10 AM, police officer Slavisa Ivezic was heavaly wounded. On the road Klina - Djakovica KLA attacked journalist Risrada Bilski from Poland and Ljupce Neckova from Bulgarian national TV. At 9:45 PM in the range of watchtower Gorozup, an armed group (10-15 persons) illegally infiltrated from Albanian territory to Yugoslav territory, carrying ammunition and infantry weapons caliber 7,62 mm (6 cases), hand grenades (6 cases), shells for arm-held rocket launchers and two 82 mm mortar supporters. April 27: Early in the morning a group of ethnic Albanian terrorists attacked the house of Ramadan Baljaj (59), employed at the Serbia Forest Service - "Srbija Sume", in the village of Iglarevo near Klina in another attempt to kill him after their previous attempt failed 12 days ago. Although he has not fully recovered from injuries inflicted on him in the previous attack, Baljaj succeeded in defending his family and capturing two terrorists, who were later taken over by the police in Klina. Refugee camp Babaloc came under attack once again. Berisha told the Kosovo Albanians at the camp not to "listen to (ethnic Albanian leader) Ibrahim Rugova, because he is no good, but to Adem Demachi and Luletu Pulja Bachiri," said Dabicaj. After spending three days in the camp, the group bought arms with their own money - 15 guns, 20 bombs and two cases of mines, and then practiced handling the weapons. They were ordered to return to Kosovo with the arms within six days, "because Serbia wants to take Kosovo," said Dabicaj. Automatic guns were fired on the car of the Japanese embassy in Belgrade near the village of Lausi on the Klina-Srbica road in Drenica. The attack wounded one of the escorts of the Japanese diplomat who was in the vehicle. April 28: KLA attacked Radman Baljaj for the third time. April 29: A group of terrorists on night attacked a Serb police patrol near the village of Dulje, the clash left one policeman seriously wounded and other Sasa Jovanovic (26), was killed as unidentified persons opened fire with a hand-held rocket launcher at the police post at Dulje from a several-hundred-meter distance. Ethnic Albanian demolished cars of foreign journalist in Pristina hotel "Grand", which didn't support their course April 30: The bodies of two Serbs had been found by the road in a village near Decani. They have been identified as Milos Radunovic and Slobodan Radosevic who had been reported kidnapped by armed Albanians on April 22. It is not known when the men were killed nor when the bodies had been left by the road. Dead men's families were afraid to go to the village of Dasinovac to collect the bodies. It was also reported that other Serbs, including the wife of one of the men, who were kidnapped at the same time had been returned to their villages alive, but still hold as hostages in their houses. Family Dasic in village Donji Rats are still being held as hostages by KLA. Brothers Igor (21), Slobodan (17) and Vladan (31) Mikic, captured by ethnic Albanian terrorists five days ago, returned home to Klina. The terrorists escorted the Mikics back to the village of Bica near Klina where they were taken captive on April 26th. The Mikic brothers are reportedly in good condition. At around 9:30 PM near Djakovica KLA targeted police. They missed police and wounded one child. May 1: Police officer Dobrivoje Krstic was lightly wounded around 3:30 AM when KLA attacked police near village Turicevac, Srbica. Terrorist opened sniper fire on police patrol. May 2: Serbian police collided with unidentified armed attackers on the road between Pristina and Pec. Additional police were sent to the area, accompanied by an armoured vehicle, to assist the patrol. Ethnic Albanian terrorists attacked the police station in Rudnik near Srbica from mortars and automatic weapons at about 11 PM. The terrorists fired from several directions for an hour and fled after police responded. None of the police officers were injured and several ethnic Albanian terrorists are believed to be hurt. The terrorists' grenades damaged several houses around the station. Police has launched an intensive search for the perpetrators. Rudnik is situated 12 km southwest of Srbica. Yugoslav Army stopped another terrorist group on Border. Ethnic Albanians in Kacanic try lynching on Albanian Mahmut Damrisu, who is loyal to Serbia. One of attackers Bajrus Tafilji try to stab him in the back, but Mahmut opened fire and killed Bajrus. May 3: Five policemen Dejan Vucic, Ivica Jovanovic, Dejan Stevanovic, Djuro Stanojcic i Iso Agovic were seriously wounded when a group of ethnic Albanian terrorists attacked their patrol at the village of Ponosevac near Djakovica, at around 10:15 AM. May 4: Serb police forces surrounded about 200 armed KLA terrorist in the village of Ponosevac, near Djakovica. The move followed two days of rifle and mortar fire from positions in the village. Ponosevac is only about ten kilometers from the Albanian border. May 5: The body of a fifty-year-old male, who was tortured before being killed, was discovered by the Glogovac-Srbica road. The police said there were quite a few head injuries on the body. Four bullet shells were found next to the body. According to what has been established by the investigation so far, the murder was committed elsewhere and the body was dumped was it was found. It is suspected that the bullet shells were planted so that it would seem that the body was lying at the scene of the crime. Police found the body of Serb Nenad Jaredic (28), a Dobra Voda post office employee, on the road Pristina-Pec near the village of Orlate, at 5:30 AM. Jaredic's family reported him missing after he failed to return home from work. Investigative organs of the Pristina district court confirmed that Jaredic's throat had been slit and that he had been shot in the head from an automatic weapon. There were torture marks on his body, and his hands had evidently been tied. The investigative organs estimate that Jaredic had been tortured and killed somewhere else and that his body was then dumped from an automobile near Orlate An armed gang of ethnic Albanian terrorists attacked the house of the Basot family in the village of Bobovac, municipality of Klina, and killed Nazif Basot. Basot was known in his environment as a loyal citizen of Serbia. Family members told the police that a dozen armed men opened automatic gunfire on the house. They are presumed to be the same terrorists who have carried out a number of attacks on the police and civilians in surrounding villages. On the road Glogovac - Srbica when reporters came to see body of a fifty-year-old male, KLA attacked them. Yugoslav bored patrol, came under attack from Yugoslav side by KLA sniper May 6: One police officer was killed and two seriously injured in an attack launched 45 minutes after midnight in the center of Kosovska Mitrovica. Milovan Nikolic (24) from the village of Leposavici was killed, and the wounded officers are Darko Ivaz and Jovica Jovic who were transferred to the Kosovska Mitrovica hospital. Darko Ivaz died latter in hospital. Machine-gun fire was opened on the police patrol car during its regular duties in the center of Kosovska Mitrovica, near the bus station. The car was hit in several places. In the ensuing crossfire, also killed was one of the attackers Artim Jasari (24), close cousin of Adem Jasari, KLA leader from Drenica, killed in March. Yugoslav border guards arrested two nationals of neighboring Albania. The two Albanians, Kujtim Bardoshi (35) and Vehbi Peshk-Malaj (52), an explosive expert, were arrested just after noon in Yugoslav territory, in the 100-m border zone in the area of the Chafa Prushit crossing. Military investigators have elicited that the two were involved in arming ethnic Albanians, being trained in Albania and infiltrating armed groups into Yugoslavia. Terrorists fired at the house of reporter Dragutin Prentic at about 10 PM. No one was hurt. The blast hit the roof of the house and part of a wall above the bedroom window. The house of Dragutin Prentic, who works for the Jedinstvo newspaper, is situated in the village of Mej. His neighbors are Catholic ethnics Albanians. Only two Serb families live in Mej. The bodies of two elderly Albanians were found in the river Decanska Bistrica. Police found the bodies in the town of Decani. The two men, Bakan Sabanaj Cacaj (79) and Hajdar Kucija (77) had been reported missing. According to a forensic report, the two had been tortured and mutilated before death. The families of both men were known to have been loyal to the Serbian Government. Police were attacked on the road Pec Decane near Brabe and one of attacker Rifat Isail Salja (30) was killed. Four other attackers were arrested later. Police suffer miner injurious. May 7: Yugoslav border guards thwarted Albanian terrorists attempt to infiltrate into the territory of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in the area of the Gorozup border post at around 3:30 AM. In line with their authority, the border guards returned automatic gunfire to the terrorists, forcing them to retreat deep into the Albanian territory. The terrorists left behind carts loaded with 20 crates of hand grenades, 3 automatic guns and more than 3,000 bullets. There were no casualties among the Yugoslav border guards. Soldier Djula Dorin serving with the Yugoslav army Plav garrison in Montenegro was killed in a terrorist attack on a Yugoslav border patrolin the area of the Bogicevica border post. Despite every effort being made to save his life, Dorin succumbed to injuries. Dorin, who came from the village of Banatsko Novo Selo in Vojvodina, started his military service in December 1997. According to the statement, the attack took place at around 11 AM when a large terrorist group ambushed the Yugoslav border patrol in the border zone on the slopes of Mt. Bogicevica at an altitude of 2,000 metres about 1,200 metres inside the Yugoslav territory. The Yugoslav border guards returned fire, killing one terrorist (police identified him as Fatimir Ujup Gasi and KLA as Bahri Fazilu) and wounding several others. The rest of the terrorists dispersed only to launch another attack later. The group was then broken up again and its members withdrew toward the Albanian territory. A worker for the electric power company was killed. The worker, Vehbija Mustafa, was killed in the vicinity of Visoki Decani monastery at about 6:20 PM, when unidentified terrorists ambushed the car he was in, opening fire from automatic weapons. Dragan Djurisic, who works for the forest estate and was with Mustafa in the car - a van owned by the power company in the provincial town of Pec was seriously wounded, Bosko Vlahovic, Esad Numinovic and Miso Mijovic, who were also in the van, were injured. The power company crew was on the way to the Koznjer hydroelectric-power plant to take the night shift. Two police officers were wounded around 3 PM when a patrol was attacked on the Pristina-Pec road near Balince, about twenty attackers opened fire on the patrol from an ambush and the police responded. Zoran Smiljanic was wounded heavily and officers Srndjan Markovic and Srecko Filipovoc lightly. May 9: Early in morning, a hand grenade exploded in downtown Pec. The explosion damaged an ambulance and two nearby cars. No one was injured in the blast and local police have begun an investigation. Elsewhere in Kosovo, the dead body of a forester, Abdul Gashi, was found near the town of Klina. His family had reported him missing two days earlier. He was Albanian loyal to Serbia. On the road Pec - Pristina Yugoslav solider Dalibor Jaksic from Knjazevac was wounded. He wear civilian clothes and he was off duty. May 10: At around 12:15 PM KLA attacked Radisav Tmusic and Savo Rakocevic. They were heavily wounded in KLA attack on their car. Two explosive devices went off in the center of Pec half hour after midnight, causing material damage. One bomb exploded in front of a boutique, owned by Erduhan Krasnici, and the other in front of a restaurant several yards away, owned by Met Krasnici, both of them ethnic Albanians. They didn't obey KLA order not to work. Policeman Dragoljub Ristic (43) was killed in a terrorist attack on a police outpost near a refugee camp Babaloc at 5:30 PM. The attack occurred when groups of armed ethnic Albanians opened fire from surrounding woods on a police outpost on Mt. Suka Erecka which secures the refugee settlement at Babaloc near Decani where refugees from Albania have been accommodated since 1990. The police officer was killed by sniper fire. He was father of two. On a part of the Pristina-Pec road, close to Orlate and Lapusnik villages, armed groups of Albanians occasionally shoot from the automatic weapon and bazookas against the members of the police force and civilian vehicles, from the nearby forests. This was the main reason for closing this section of the Pristina- Pec road. Several attacks against the police and civilian vehicles were recorded on this part of the road during the last two days. The Ahmet Tacij's body, from Lozica village, Klina municipality, who had been kidnapped shortly after midnight, was found. His family reported to the police that the armed, masked men, who spoke Albanian and introduced themselves as the members of KLA, kidnapped Tacij, Taci was killed from the automatic weapon. The police in Klina municipality was reported by a group of Albanian Catholics, that a few masked people had entered their houses and had taken away three hunting rifles and two guns from them, for which they had legal permits issued. Kolj Paljokaj, Mihil Djerdjaj, Barlec Selmanaj, Nrec Gojani and Djerdj Djerdjaj claimed that the masked attackers had introduced themselves as the members of KLA. Three Albanians, Martin Zeljaj, Filip Pjetraj and Gasper Seljmanaj, who possessed three seized hunting rifles and M-48 rifle ammunition, were arrested by the police, the same day, in Poljane village, in Istok municipality. May 11: A column of police cars came under heavy fire from automatic weapons at Careva Cesma on the Pristina-Pec road at around 7 AM. There were no casualties among the policemen. The policemen fired back, no information is available about whether there were casualties among the attackers.Ethnic Albanian terrorists opened fire with automatic weapons on a car moving along the route linking Kosovska Mitrovica and Pec at about 10 AM seriously wounding three members of a family from a nearby village. Brothers Dragisa and Drakce Deverdzic and their sister Ilinka, from the village of Radisevo, were first taken to hospital in Pec and then transferred to the Clinical Centre in Pristina. Dragisa Deverdzic, employed with Serbia's Post Services said he had recognized some of his neighbors among the terrorists. Brother and sister Dragisa and Ilinka Deverdzic and their cousin Drago Djuric, wounded in terrorist attack by ethnic Albanian extremists on the road Radisevo-Putnik near Srbica, have been transferred to the clinical and hospital Centre of Pristina. Dragisa Deverdzic, a postman, who has a bullet wound in his chest, is in the intensive care unit with good prospects to recover, said head of surgery of this medical Centre Andrija Tomanovic. The Pristina-Pec road is closed to traffic as armed groups of ethnic Albanians fire at passing vehicles. Police arrested 7 terrorist because of attack in Kosovska Mitrovica on May 6th. Nuredin Fazlija, Rahman Beka, Hadzi Bajram Beka, Ismet Plana, Ilir Djemali, Imer Hoti and Abaz Veliju were arrested. May 12: A terrorist attack against the police occurred close to Pristina downtown at around 4 AM, the police responded and terrorists retreated hid in the nearby house in the Kacanicka Street, making strong hold back by the weapons and bombs. A large quantity of the medical staff, the knifes, military maps of Kosovo and Pristina section were found together with the military binoculars and compass, as well as, various kinds of camouflage clothing and wigs. A large quantity of the propaganda material and literature, handbooks and sketches for the terroristic training were also found. A strong fire was opened against police car convoy on the road Pristina-Pec, nearby the town Careva Cesma at 7 AM. There were no wounded. Police responded against the fire. The Pristina-Pec road was closed for the traffic, because the armed groups of Albanians shoot the cars. One police officer was killed and another two were seriously wounded in an attack on their patrol near the village of Ratkovac in Orahovac municipality at around 11 AM. Police officer Aleksandar Micic was killed in an ambush, while officers Sasko Djurisic, Rados Soskic and Milivoje Zakic were seriously wounded. Police arrested 12 KLA terrorist because of attacks on police in Orahovac: Hazir Krasnici (38), Amon Kastrati (27), Asim Morina (20), Besim Kastrati (25), Radman Morina (29), Zejnel Rustemi (59), Agim Morina (35), Selim Berisa (36) from village Radoste and Gani Morina (61) Cemail Bitici (34), Hidajet Morina (25), Ehat Bitici (19) from village Dejne. May 13: A policeman was wounded in an attack against the police patrol that occurred around 10 AM, nearby Dolac village, Klina. Unidentified attackers shot against the police patrol last night, an hour after midnight, close by the Rakos village, along the road Kosovska Mitrovica - Pec, in Drenica region. There were no wounded among the police officers. At least ten inhabitants of the Smonica village, in the border area towards Albania, were killed because of non-professional handling with riffle grandee. In addition to the above causalities, there were several wounded too, although the information of the number of them missing. Djakovica hospital claimed, the people of the Smonica village did not ask for any medical help, as there is a first-aid department that is not under control of the local medical authorities. There had been a strong conflict between armed Albanians and the police nearby this village ten days ago. In Dobro Selo village, Darko Stefanovic (20) worker of Serbian Electric Utility was attack and wounded. May 14: Three policemen (Zelimir Jakovljevic, Vekoslav Popovic and Zoran Dabizeljevic) were wounded in clashes with armed groups of Albanians nearby the Zrza village in the area of Orahovac municipality. Wounded policemen were brought to Prizren hospital and according to doctor's claims they have suffered of light injuries. The clash started with the attack against police patrol about 8:30 AM when one policeman was wounded, soon after that several groups of armed Albanians were shooting against police from the nearby villages. The shooting lasted a few hours. Armed groups of Albanians opened the fire against the police by the automatic weapons and hand launches. It is assumed that there are casualties among the attackers. Zarko Spasic, a worker of the Belacevac coal-pit has been missing since about 10 PM. He went by an off-road vehicle from Belacevac to Slatina to pick-up the second-shift workers, and since then, nobody saw him. 100 KLA terrorist attacked Serbian families in village Kriz, Drenica. May 15:. A large number of armed Albanians attacked the police check-point firing from the automatic weapons at 1 PM in the Rakos village on the Srbica- Istok road. Police fired back, and after short clash, the attackers ran away. According to the unofficial information, at least three attackers got killed in the clash. Following the attack, the police took control of this part of Drenica. The fire was opened against the police checkpoint close to the Rakos village nearby Drenica, at about 10 PM There were no casualties. The fire was opened against the police check point in Crkolez, in the area of Istok municipality from the nearby Padaliste village by automatic weapons and rifle grenade, at about 10 PM. There were no casualties. Agim Seiti journalist of Pec radio station was attacked in Pec. May 16: Yugoslav border guard found eight children who entered Yugoslav territory from Albania near Cesta and Krstac border barracks, nearby Dragas town, on Yugoslav - Albanian border, around 7 PM. The boys, 11 to 16 years of age, said to the police that, as they said, "some people forced them to cross the border in order to check presence of the Army in that part of the border". The boys are from Albanian villages Borias and Ordios, nearby the border. They did not have weapons and identity documents. May 17: Police officer Predrag Ristic was wounded in an attack, made by a group of armed Albanians, at around 8:20 AM, close to Iglarevo village, on the road Pristina - Pec, nearby Klina municipality. The police officer was transported to Pec hospital and doctors said his life has not been jeopardized. The police fired back against the attackers and there have been several killed and wounded among them. Albanian terrorists attacked the Djuricic family house in the Grabanica village, in the territory of Klina municipality, about 12:05 PM. Milivoje Djuricic (49) was badly wounded, and brought to Pec hospital surgery department. Guard of mining company Volujk, Klina was attacked. Villages of Zaimova were attack by KLA. They returned fire and killed one terrorist. May 18: Ralevic, the only Serbian family in Boksic village nearby Klina, was expelled by the armed group of Albanians, at about 11 AM The four members of Ralevic family stated to municipal authorities in Klina that armed Albanians, who presented themselves as the members of KLA, gave the family half an hour to leave the Boksic village alive. The Ralevic family had packed the most important things and came by tractor to Klina. A group of Albanians with 10 pack horses tried to illegally enter the Albania from the Yugoslavia in the area of Morina border post, west of Djakovica, early morning. As army border guards found out, those Albanians are from the nearby village of Donja Morina, and they intended to reach Tropoj village on the Albanian side. Apparently, they intended to take over packages of weapons and bring them on horses illegally into Yugoslavia. However, they succeed to escape, using the night and bad weather conditions. They hid in the villages of Donja Morina and Molic, as the border guards found out. Yugoslav local-combined-border commission members had been investigating the incident that happened that day around 3:30 PM, when Yugoslav border guards opened fire against two Albanians that tried to infiltrate illegally from Albania to Yugoslavia, and did not respect the border guards halt-warning. During the incident, an infiltrator, named, Irfan Sokoljaj was wounded, while, the other, named; Cabe Basa was cought, as they tried to cross the border illegally. There was a fire opened from the territory of Republic of Albania against the members of Yugoslav local combined commission, nearby the Gora border barracks, close to Dragas municipality, at around 8 PM. Yugoslav border guards fired back. Miss Dostana Shmigic was kidnapped near Srbica by KLA. May 19: Naim Krasnici, wedding - registrar clerk from the Crni Lug village nearby Klina, was killed in front of the Municipality office in his village around 9 AM. Unidentified persons shot Krasnici. The members of his family informed the police about this crime. It is assumed that Krasnici was killed because he did not hide his loyalty to the Republic of Serbia. During a routine train control, the police found an unusual large amount of oil and sugar with a large group of passengers, , at 1 PM, at Pogradje railway station, on the Pec - Kosovo Polje railroad. Assuming, these groceries could have been used for the illegal trade, the police patrol kept eleven passengers that possessed the groceries at the railway station. The police headquarters confirmed that the passengers were released and sent home after the regular police procedure. A group of armed Albanians stopped the bus on its regular route, nearby Cubrelj village, on the Pec - Kosovska Mitrovica road, at about 3 PM. They took the policeman Dejan Stamenkovic, from the village of Ropotovo, who was among passengers, near Kosovska Kamenica, The group of armed Albanians asked all of the passengers to show their I.D. and took away Stamenkovic only. Armed Albanians abused the drivers for half an hour and riddled the trucks by bullets. Truck drivers Rajko Komazec and Slavoljub Jovanovic were heavaly beaten by KLA terrorist. They let them continue the trip afterwards. Unidentified attackers shot the bus of "Djakovica prevoz" from the automatic rifles, at 8 PM, near the Prilip village, nearby Decane. The driver did not stop the bus, but continued driving toward Decane. Driver, ethic Albanian presumes that stopping would mean certain dead to Serbs in bus and save their lives. There were no injured people, although the bus was bullet-riddled. There were only a few passengers. Marko Cerovina worker of Serbian Electrical Utility was attack in Pristina and heavaly beaten. May 20: About 8:30 PM in the village Smac, municipality of Djakovica, Nedzat Pnisi from the village Damjan was killed. A group of armed Albanians, wearing the uniforms of KLA, dropped into the local shop, where many of the citizens of this village populated by Albanian Catholic, were sitting and talking. According to the eyewitnesses' statements, they started to shoot from the automatic weapons, yielding "While you drunk, we were fighting for you". Except the killed one, no one was hurt, and the shop was slightly damaged. They responded on the fire from the house. After half an hour combat, the attackers withdrew. There were no wounded in the attack, and the house was slightly damaged. In the Dolac village, municipality of Klina, Ivan Zaric, with Gurim Bejta and Argon Berisa - local Gypsies community members, went to mill cereals in Grabanica. They were intercepted by an armed group of Albanians who took them away in an unknown direction.Their relatives and the population of Dolac reported this event to the local authorities. Local farm in Glogovac was robed. May 21: Ethnic Albanian terrorists killed a 15 year old boy in an assault around midnight in the village of Veliko Krusevo, near Klina Dalibor Lazarevic (15) was killed, whereas Dragomir Miljanovic (24), and Slavisa Miljanovic (27), suffered heavy injuries. They underwent surgery at the hospital in Pec, and their conditions are not critical. Ethnic Albanians on night attacked the Arsovic, Slavkovic and Karavelic families in the village of Budisavci, near the town of Klina. No casualties were reported. An armed group of ethnic Albanians intercepted the car of a reporter of the Japanese news agency Kyodo on the Pristina-Pec road in Kosovo and Metohija, three kilometers west of Komorani, at 11:20 AM. The terrorists took the flek jackets of the Kyodo reporter and a local translator who was in the car with him. According to the accounts given by the reporter and the translator, there were eight terrorists who wore the symbols and said they were members of the terrorist KLA. The car of Gojko Gojkovic, a policeman from Djakovica was fired from the nearby forest by the automatic weapons, nearby the village Istinic, at 8:30 AM. Gojkovic is not harmed. Miladin Novakovic, a Police department chief in Junik village, was wounded at 9 AM, on the Djakovica-Decane road. He was on his way to work, when armed group of Albanians attacked him shooting by automatic weapons. Novakovic resisted and fired back. After two hours of fighting, he succeeded to reach the nearest police check- point on foot. Policeman Dragoljub Djukic (34) was severely wounded in the attack that occurred at 4 PM, near Streoce village, nearby Decane. Djukic was shot at his chest by a sniper rifle. According to the unofficial information, he was wounded during the attack against the police patrol, conducted by the groups of armed Albanians from the nearby forests. Fire was opened several times against the police and civilian cars, near this village, . He succumbed the wounds at 7 PM in the Pec hospital. He was father of two. The attack against Yugoslav Army members, who are guarding the state border, happened nearby the barrack Morina, west from Djakovica, at about 5:30 PM. The attack was made by the automatic weapons and light mortars. The soldiers responded on the fire, and according to claims, broke down the armed groups. There were no casualties among the soldiers. KLA terrorist expelled Vujosevic family from Crni Breg village and Stamenkovic family from Prilep. May 26: The automatic rifle fire was opened against the car driven by Anastasia, mother superior of Devic monastery, around 10 AM in the Lausa village, nearby Srbica in Drenica region. Another nun was in the car too. The nun and mother superior were not injured. There was one shot against the car only. Mother superior was on her way to Srbica to invite the workers of Serbia Electric Utility to repair the damage on the electrical ducts, since the Monastery had been without the electricity for two days. The police discovered a secret storage of weapon and ammunition in Prizren. The storage mentioned was in the Nadjif Iljazi house, the president of the illegal Independent Albanian Students Union. Five automatic rifles, some hand grenade launchers, hand grenades, and large quantity of China made ammunition were found. Police forces are completely controlling the road Pec - Decane - Djakovica. The Yugoslav Army reported that three of its men died Dragan Ignjatovic (26) Vojkan Matic (21) and Dusan Tasic (20) and two more were injured Djordjevic Vladica (25) and Milosavljevic Zarko, after a group of soldiers stumbled upon a live land mine set by KLA. Body of Milan Zivic (70) was found in Vucitrn. He was retired worker of Serbian Forest Service "Srbija Sume". He was killed by KLA terrorist who beat him up. His neighbor ethnic Albanian Saban Imeri reported this to police. At around 9:30 PM in the village Susica ethnic Albanian was attack with fire armes. Police arrsete two KLA terrorist responsible for the attack - Shaban (41) and Hisen(23) Salinaj. May 31: The police in the villages of Vranovac, Istinic, Beleg, and Crnobreg, Decani came under a strong fire in morning. Police fired back and killed several tens of terrorists. The police evacuated the civilians from the villages of the Decane area, because of the large concentration of Albanian armed groups. The police officers broke down, neutralized several terroristic groups, and made them ran off toward Malisevo, Klina, Orahovac, and Drenica. Foreign mercenaries from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Albania, reportedly, were among them. June 1: A policeman was severely, and three others lightly wounded in the clashes that occurred in Decane vicinity. The armed groups of Albanians fired repeatedly from the automatic weapons and mortars against the police checkpoints and convoys, , according to the police information. The police fired back and there is no information on the casualties and wounded among the attackers. June 2: An armed Albanian group that illegally entered into Yugoslav territory from Albania fired against the border patrol, at 7 PM in the region of "Dejan Radanovic" border barrack. The border guards fired back and, afterwards, the attackers ran back into the Albanian territory. The Yugoslav border guards found a corpse of an unidentified forty-five -year old man, 4 automatic and 6 semi- automatic rifles and ammunition.Two Albanian boys (13 and 17 years old), that illegally crossed Yugoslav - Albanian border from Albania, were arrested by the Yugoslav border guards, yesterday, in the region of Orcusa border barracks. The boys had no IDs with them, and, accordingly, handed over to the police. The armed groups of Albanians opened fire from the automatic weapons and mortars against the police units that were trying to enable the normalization of the traffic on the Decane - Djakovica road. Policeman, named Zeljko Sijan was killed during the clashes, near the Crnobreg village. A large group of armed Albanians was defeated by the police in the village. Fire against the police was opened from the houses and fortifications situated on the both sides of the Decane - Djakovica road. June 3: Yugoslav Army units, stationed and carry out their regular duties in a wide area of the village Dulje on the Pristina-Prizren road, came under fire from a larger distance in the direction of Luznica village, at about 9 AM. No casualties among the Yugoslav Army soldiers were reported. Yugoslav border guards prevented several attempts of the armed Albanian groups to illegally enter Yugoslavia. An armed Albanian group entered the territory near the place called Brod, situated on the Yugoslav - Macedonian border. Following the warning of the Yugoslav border guards, they ran back to Macedonia. Six automatic rifles and a large quantity of ammunition were found by Yugoslav border guards. June 4: Yugoslav border soldiers prevented an illegal crossing of Yugoslav State border from Albania, by a large group of armed persons early in the morning in the area of Cestak border barracks. The incident happened early in the morning, some three hours after midnight. After the exchange of fire, the group of armed Albanians ran back to the Albanian territory. One of the illegal group members was killed, and he had personal weapon, ammunition, and many hand grenades with him. Unidentified persons grenaded the house of Andrija Jokanovic, the resident of Hercegovo village, Vucitrn municipality, 11 PM. The hand grenade was hit through the window, but there were no casualties, since Mr. Jokanovic and his wife were in the other part of the house at the moment. The house was significantly damaged. This was the second attack against Jokanovic family. Unknown persons fired from automatic weapon against the Jokanovic house two and a half months ago. There were no casualties at that time, either. The police station in Ratkovac village, west of Orahovac, was attacked by mortars and automatic weapon late last night. After the fight that lasted for several hours the police withdrew from Ratkovac. The police station in Ratkovac is completely destroyed. Due to frequent attacks made by armed groups of Albanians, all Serbian families left the village several days ago. June 5: The police convoy, riding along the Kosovska Mitorivica - Pec highway came under automatic weapon and mortar fire at 9:40 AM. No wounded among the police were reported. The police fired back, but the information on possible casualties among the attackers is missing. Yugoslav Army general Nebojsa Pavkovic, the supreme commander of Pristina Corps, invited the citizens of Batusa border village, situated Northeast of Djakovica, to return to their homes. General Pavkovic discussing with the group of Albanians, the citizens of the village, stated that the only condition is that armed groups of Albanians should surrender the weapon to the authorities and should stop attacking the Yugoslav Army members and police. General Pavkovic said Yugoslav Army would guarantee the security of all border villages citizens, provided the conditions given are fulfilled. During the discussions Albanians - the village citizens promised to transfer the appeal to their neighbors, that left the village, due to the clashes between the police and armed groups of Albanians, and were hiding in surrounding villages and forests. The Yugoslav army members delivered large quantities of food to the village citizens. The food was divided among the families that are coming back to their homes.The police broke up large groups of armed Albanians, and they are hiding in smaller groups in the forests, trying to withdraw toward Orahovac and Drenica. At least 20 armed Albanians, that took part in the attack against the police, were captured during the clashes around Decane and nearby villages, during the last few days, the municipality authorities in Pec and Decane confirmed. The border Yugoslav army units found over 50 automatic rifles of the Chinese made, and large quantity of ammunition and hand grenades near Molic and Brovina villages. It is assumed this weapons was left by the armed Albanian groups, that conducted attacks against the police and military border units during the last few months. Molic and Brovina villages are situated north-west from Djakovica, next to the Yugoslav-Albanian border. The Albanian, named Sika Ljusaj (f.), from the Padaliste village was wounded during the attack conducted by the armed Albanian group against the "Kosmet prevoz" bus, at about 11 AM on the Kosovska Mitrovica- Pec road, near the Cubrelj village, Drenica region. Wounded Sika Ljusaj was transported to the Kosovska Mitrovica hospital, and according to the doctors' statements, her state is stable. Passengers, about thirty of them, claimed three armed Albanians tried to stop the bus, but since the driver did not want to stop, fire was opened from the automatic weapons, from the nearby forest. Several bullets hit the bus. Fire was opened from the automatic rifles, shotguns and mortars against the Serbian houses in the Bic village near Klina, early in the morning. The inhabitants of the village-Serbs, that organized the guards, fired back. Shooting lasted for half an hour. There were no wounded among the citizens, but the roofs and the walls of the houses were seriously damaged. Blagoje Jovanovic (1944), farmer from Kostrc village, near Srbica, was killed in morning in front of his house. His wife reported the authorities that her husband, Jovanovic was killed by automatic rifle armed and camouflaged persons, who approached close to the house. Jovanovic's wife, at the moment, was in the house; thus, the attackers did not see her. The police succeeded to pick up Jovanovic's body just that evening. Yugoslav Army border units prevented an attempt of an armed group of Albanians in crossing the border of Albania and Yugoslavia in the vicinity of Group border barracks, west of Prizren, around 4 PM. Yugoslav border guards fired and they captured one of the illegals that possessed his personal; armament and ammunition. The rest of armed Albanians withdrew into the territory of Albania. June 6: Yugoslav border guards stopped a group of armed people to illegally enter Yugoslavia from Macedonia, early in the morning, in the region of Brod border barrack, near Dragas, on theYugoslav-Macedonian border. Then, during the fire exchange, two persons from the group got killed, and the rest of them ran back to the Macedonian territory. No casualties were reported with the Yugoslav border guards. Three armed, masked Albanians, with the, KLA broke in the house of the forester, named Milutin Djuric, in the village of Krligate, municipality of Zubin Potok, in the morning. They took away his official weapons. Later, the same group of armed people took away the hunting rifles from Radonja Bisevac and Borisav Bisevac, living in the same village. The armed Albanian group broke in Les Prenaj's house in Veliki Djurdjevic village, nearby Klina. They took away his hunting rifle. The armed Albanians had the KLA insignia on the uniforms. An armed Albanian group attacked the police station in Rudnik village, on the Kosovska Mitrovica-Pec road, nearby Srbica, in Drenica municipality, 9:30 PM. The police station came under the automatic rifle, machine gun and mortar fire. Following, the police fired back the attackers withdrew. No casualties were reported by the police. Corpse of Alija Bajram, who had been kidnapped by the masked members of KLA ten days ago, was found in the forest above the village of Ucka, near by Istok. His body was found mutilated (his head and arms were cut off). The Istok municipal authorities claimed that Alija Bajram was killed in a beastly way, due to his disagreement with the radicalization of current state, and he was against the arming of the Albanian citizens in his village. June 7: The Albanian armed groups fired against the Serbian houses in the villages Banje and Suvo Grlo from a larger distance, at about 10 PM. Banje and Suvo Grlo are the only villages in Drenica with almost all-Serbian houses in. There are only three Albanian families living in these villages. Four armed Albanians, threatening by weapon, took away sterilization machine and large quantity of medical supplies from the health-station in Sedlare village, nearby Lipljan. The doctor and the nurse, that had been at the health-station, were told by the armed Albanians, that they were taking away the medical material because the so - called KLA needed it. June 8: Strong groups of armed Albanians attacked Serbian villages Banje and Suvo Grlo, near Srbica commune at around 5:30 AM. The Serbian houses came under the automatic rifle, machine gun and mortar fire. The villagers, who organized the village defense, fired back and, after two hours of shooting, the attackers withdrew into the nearby forests. The villagers faced no casualties. One policeman and one civilian were wounded around 4 PM near the villages of Banje and Suvo Grlo, near by Srbica, in the Drenica region. The policeman Branko Marjanovic from Pec was wounded in both legs, while Predrag Tomasevic (26) from the Banje village, was wounded in the leg. The doctors in the Pec Clinical Hospital Center, in which, the two wounded were medically treated, confirmed Media Centar that their wounds are not life threatening. Marjanovic and Tomasevic were wounded during the attack made by the armed Albanians against these two villages. That was the third attack against the villages of Banje and Suvo Grlo in last two days. The villagers, who had organized the village defense, repulsed both attacks. The police came to help them this afternoon. One soldier was killed and three were wounded during the attack made by an armed Albanian group against an army vehicle, near the villages of Smonica and Popovac, west of Djakovica, close to the Yugoslav-Albanian border. Soldier, named Vladimir Ratkovic (born in 1976.), from Belgrade, got killed, while the officer named Nenad Borisavljevic and soldiers Nenad Blagojevic and Serif Krasnici were wounded. The attack was executed by the hand-launchers, this morning, at around 8 AM. Soldiers of the Yugoslav Army border units fired back. An armed group of Albanians broke into Dragan Ristic's house, in the Glavotina village, between Pristina and Vucitrn, and took off 2 hunting rifles, at about 3 PM. The armed Albanian group introduced themselves as members of KLA. The Ristic family is the only Serbian family in the Glavotina village. Yugoslav Army border units cut off another channel for the illegal weapon supply from Albania, at around 11 PM. Large group of armed Albanians tried to smuggle in a large quantity of weapons carried by horses, across the Kunor mountain, southwest of Djakovica. Following the Yugoslav border guards warning, the armed Albanians fired. One of the terrorists got killed during the clash, while the others ran away towards the Albanian territory. The Army sources in Pristina confirmed that a large quantity of weapons was seized: one recoilless cannon, 13 machine-guns, 10 hand-launchers, 3 rocket-launchers ("Zolja"), 60 Kalashnikov rifles and large quantity of bombs, ammunition and military equipment. In addition, two new "Ambrust" missile launchers, of German make, were seized for the first time. June 11: A few houses that belonged to the Serbian families were burnt down, in the morning, in Leocina village, west of Srbica, on the border with Istok municipality. The Serbian families fled from this village, three days ago, in fear of the armed Albanian groups, especially after the clashes in the villages of Banje and Suvo Grlo, Srbica municipality. There are no Serbian families in the village Leocina anymore. Two policemen, Branko Karavelic (1967) and Zivorad Lukic (1965) were killed last night at about 9 PM, nearby village Hamidija, Obilic municipal. The Yugoslav border guards captured three heavy machine guns, four machine guns, 39 semiautomatic rifles, five assault rifles, a " Tompson" sniper with a silencer, five hand-launchers, three rocket launchers, more than 16,000 bullets, as well as 35 German Army camouflage uniforms. It is assumed, that a Norway journalist was in the group that tried to illegally cross the border. Documents of the journalist, named Pal Refsdal, from TV2 Bergen Norway, a video-camera, a mobile phone, and a camera were also found. No casualties were reported with the Yugoslav border guards. An armed Albanian group beat up Novka and Savo Zivkovic, at 09:30 PM in Bukos village, Vucitrn municipality. The Zivkovics got bad injuries. They had been beaten up by sticks. The armed Albanians asked for weapons first, but, since they didn't have any weapons, they beat them up and demolished the house, that is located at outskirts of the village, towards the Cicavica mountain. Strong forces of Albanians attacked police station last night, at 10 PM in the village of Rudnik, Srbica municipality. The mentioned village is situated by the Kosovska Mitrovica - Pec road. The attack was made by automatic weapon, anti-tank launchers and hand grenades. The shooting lasted several hours. The police responded on fire, and the attackers ran away. June 16: Rajko Gojic, the police reservist was killed in the village of Veric, Decane municipality. His corpse was found in his house, in the mentioned village, at about 6:30 AM. The village Veric is situated in Drenica, close to Kosovska Mitrovica - Pec road. It has been noted, armed Albanians have been attacking the police and civilians many times during the last several months. A large group of armed Albanians tried to illegally enter the Yugoslav territory, at about 5 PM, nearby the Kosare border barrack. Following the Yugoslav border guards' warning, the armed Albanians opened fire from the automatic weapons. The Yugoslav border guards fired back. During the clash, at least five armed Albanians, who tried to illegally enter Yugoslavia, got killed. The rest of the group, that illegally tried to enter Yugoslav territory, withdrew to the Albanian territory and fired against the soldiers of Yugoslav border units by the mortars. An armed group of Albanians kidnapped Cedo Kandic (54) in Kotare village, Srbica municipality, afternoon, taking him away in an unknown direction. Srbica municipal authorities claimed, Kandic was kidnapped by 7 armed Albanians. The attackers mentioned, ruined Vuceta Vukovic's house in Kotare village in the afternoon, using the hand launcher. Yugoslav border guards fired back and killed five Albanians from the group that tried to illegally cross the border. A large quantity of ammunition was captured. A large group of armed Albanians attacked a police patrol on the Stimlje-Prizren road, near Crnoljevo, at 6:15 PM. The policeman, named Sladjan Miric, from Stimlje, who was severely wounded, succumbed the wounds on the way to the hospital. The attackers fired from the both sides of the road against the police, by the automatic weapons, sniper rifles and mortars. At the same time, the Yugoslav Army unit that was on the regular camping came under fire, several hundred meters away, near the Luznica village. A Yugoslav Army soldier was killed. Body of Zivojin Milic, from Sibovac village, near Obilic, was found afternoon on the Kosovska Mitrovica- Srbica road. According to information, he was shot by six bullets at his head, from direct vicinity. Yugoslav Army border guard prevented a large group of armed Albanians to penetrate illegally from Macedonia to Yugoslavia, near the army border barrack "Djeneral Jankovic", at about 10 PM. Since the armed Albanians did not stop at a forewarning, Yugoslav border guards opened fire. Following, armed Albanians escaped back to Macedonian territory. Yugoslav Army border guards captured eight assault rifles and a large quantity of ammunition at the spot of the incident. June 18: Three armed Albanians stopped the car of the "Elektroprivreda Srbija" with five workers aboard, near Grabovac village, at about 1 PM. The armed attackers kidnapped the car and the two workers, technical engineer Miodrag Ilic and driver Preblag Milic and took them in an unknown direction. They set free and let the three other Albanian nationality workers go. The two Serbs were released at about 5 PM. They stated the kidnappers took them to the nearby village and, they were interrogated for two hours, but were not beaten up. A policeman was killed, and five were wounded during the attack against police convoy, on the Pec - Pristina road, near the Iglarevo, Klina municipality, at 4:30 PM. Policeman, named Vitomir Scepanovic, from Klina, was killed and police officer Dragan Obrenovic was badly wounded. Four other policeman were transported to the Pec hospital, as the doctors reported, they had been lightly wounded. Heavy-armed Albanian group made the attack, firing by the automatic weapons, heavy machine guns and mortars against the police car convoy. June 20: A group of armed Albanians attacked Serbian houses in Jelovac village, near Klina, afternoon hours. The citizens of the village made the attackers retreated, and no casualties were reported with the citizensof the village. Following the attack, the citizens of the village reported Dragoljub Vestic and Radomir Vestic were missing. Shortly before the attack, they were mowing grass on their meadow, but after the attack, only their scythes were found. There is a fear, they were kidnapped. Afterwards, the children, women and elderly people left the village, and only the men who were able to defend themselves stayed at their homes. A large group of armed Albanians attacked Dusevic village, east of Klina, at 1 PM. Self-organized villagers defended themselves from the attack, but Oliver Zajic, born 1980, was badly wounded during the clash with the armed Albanians. Zajic succumbed his wounds on the way to the hospital. Armed groups of Albanians have been attacking the village three times during last 24 hours. June 22: Six armed Albanians kidnapped three workers employed in the coal mine in Belacevac, at 9:15 AM, on the road in the Grabovac village, Kosovo Polje municipality. The kidnapped workers are Dragan Vukmirovic, Zoran Adzancic and Filip Gojkovic. The armed Albanians kidnapped them from the car, also carrying two workers of Albanian nationality. The kidnappers let the Albanians go home. A few days ago, the car of state owned company "Elektroprivreda Srbija" was stopped on the same spot, and two Serbian nationality workers were kidnapped, while three Albanian workers accompanying them, were released. The kidnappers kept those two Serbs for three hours at still unknown place and released them. According to their statements they were not ill-treated. Policeman, Zoltan Tot, was wounded during the attack of the armed group of Albanians against the police patrol, at about 6 PM, on Decane - Djakovica road. The policeman was wounded at his arm and leg, and was transported to the Pec hospital. Groups of armed Albanians were shooting from the ambush, by the assault rifles and hand-launchers, against the police convoy that was protecting the road. Armed groups of Albanians burned 12 Serbian houses in the village of Jelovac, Klina. After frequent attacks on their homes, all of the 12 Serbian families were evacuated from Jelovac two days ago and they were settled in Klina. There were shootings against the police yesterday, and they fired back. Following, the armed groups of Albanians at their withdrawal burned all Serbian houses in Jelovac. June 23: Due to frequent attacks of armed groups of Albanians, Serbian families from the most of the Klina municipality villages fled to Klina. There are 800 refugees, mostly children, women and old people. They fled from Jelovac, Dusevic, Josanica, Dolovo, Mlecane, Kijevo and Grabanica. The Klina municipal authorities reported that there is a shortage of food and medicaments. Kijevo, according to the same source, is especially in critical condition. There are sixty Serbian families and thirty men from Mlecane, who are resisting against Albanian secessionist everyday's armed attacks, who literally keep Kijevo under the siege. Nine Serbs, most of them employed at "Elektroprivreda Kosovo", disappeared yesterday close to Belacevac coalmine, near by Obilic. A group of armed men, as Media Centar was reported in the Suva Reka municipality came to Vranovci's house and killed him. June 24: Rados Spasic was killed near his house in Kijevo village, Klina municipality. Groups of armed Albanians opened fire against him and his neighbor. Spasic's neighbor managed to escape, but the police found Spasic's body. He was killed by the firearms. Spasic was a school head master in Kijevo. June 25: The Yugoslav border guards prevented an armed group of Albanians to enter the Yugoslavia illegally from the Republic of Albania, near by border barracks Kosare, northwest of Djakovica, around 6 AM. According to the eyewitnesses' statements, they ordered Serbs to come out of the bus. Since no one came out, they asked for passengers' identification cards, and took first three Serbs in unknown direction. These three Serbs are middle-aged persons and they entered the bus in Prizren. The armed groups of Albanians kidnapped 33 persons of Serbian nationality in the period since 26, April up to 25, June, 1998, in Kosovo and Metohija. Armed groups of terrorist attacked the Kijevo village again, by automatic weapons. This village is situated near the Pristina-Pec road in Klina municipality. Serbs from this village, who had organized defense and village guard, overcome the attacks successfully, for the time being. June 26: Slavoljub Grozdanovic and Slavko Skrtic were killed on the road near by the Rakos village in the Drenica region, last night. Their bodies were found on the road, in the car pockmarked by bullets, in the morning. Slavoljub Grozdanovic from the Rakos village and Slavko Skrtic from the Krnjina village, were ambushed and killed by automatic weapons. Armed groups of Albanians kidnapped three Serbs from the Pantina village, near Vucitrn. A married couple, Cedomirka and Ratko Miljkovic and one member of the Milenkovic family were kidnapped. The armed groups of Albanians attacked Serbian houses in the village, at around 4 AM, so the most of the Serbs were evacuated. It is assumed that these three Serbs were kidnapped during the evacuation. Group of armed Albanians kidnapped three Albanians- Zejnel Batusa, Rustem Bajrami and Jasari Zejneli, and took them in an unknown direction, , in Batusa village, north-west of Djakovica. The armed Albanians, members of the separatist KLA, expelled from the village almost all Albanians who came back to the village after the clashes that took place about twenty days ago. Djakovica municipal authorities claimed that three Albanians had been kidnapped because they had been trying to persuade the Albanians to come back to Batusa and that the Yugoslav Army soldiers would guarantee security to them. Yugoslav Army soldiers brought large amounts of food to the citizens of Batusa, as an aid, twenty days ago. KLA kidnapped three Albanians in the Donje Godance village, Stimlje Municipality, and took them away in an unknown direction. Agim Ademi, who participated in talks with the Republic of Serbia delegation, held in Pristina, was kidnapped. Veselj Ahmeti, employed in Stimlje Municipality was also kidnapped, as well as Sucri Zumeri, a farmer.All three kidnapped Albanians were devoted to mutual life in Kosovo and Metohija. Police officer Nenad Savic was severely wounded during the attack against the police members that were securing food convoy, at 2:30 PM, near Gornja Klina, on Kosovska Mitrovica - Srbica road.The attackers suffered great loses. Fire was also opened by the automatic weapons against the "Kosmet prevoz" bus, ten minutes before this event, almost at the same spot. Several bullets hit the bus. Passengers Srecko Jokic and Musli Barjaktari were lightly wounded, and after medical treatment in Kosovska Mitrovica hospital, were let to go home. Three pregnant women, who are to deliver, and a woman with a four-year old child, were evacuated from Kijevo by the police medical helicopter, this evening, at about 7 PM. The citizens of Kijevo organized the defense of the village by themselves and they were successfully responding to the daily attacks of Albanian extremists. Groups of armed Albanians made several attacks against Yugoslav Army soldiers who were delivering food-supplies to border barracks, in the border area near Djakovica. The attackers used automatic weapons and mortars. Large group of armed Albanians attacked Serbian houses by the assault rifles and heavy machine guns, last night, at 7:30 PM, in Drenovac village, Klina municipality. Members of Stepic and Dobric families fired back, and after an hour and a half of shooting, the attackers withdrew. June 28: Policeman Pero Tintor (26) was killed near by Prilep village, on Decani-Djakovica road, at04:30 AM. He was killed during the attack armed group of Albanians made against the police check-point. An armed group of Albanians tried to illegally cross the border from Albania to Yugoslavia, west of Prizren at 3:30 AM. Yugoslav border guards prevented this attempt successfully. Following the incident, in which both sides exchanged fire, the Yugoslav border guards found a large number of weapons and military equipment. Around 10 AM the army convoy was attacked near by border barrack Kosare. Yugoslav border guards opened fire and made the attackers retreat. The border guards were attacked near by border barrack Morina, at 4:30 PM, and soldiers responded on fire. A large amount of weapons and ammunition was seized. The police surrounded groups of armed Albanians that occupied the Belacevac Surface Coal Mine Management Building and Workshop a week ago. A part of armed Albanians group withdrew in Ade and Belacevac villages, where from, they shot against the police by automatic weapon. No casualties were reported in these incidents. The police used tear gas, the same source claimed. The armed Albanian group, that barricaded into the Belacevac Coal Mine buildings, fired against the police at 2 PM. Another armed Albanian group, that withdrew from the cola mine this morning, attacked the Ristic family house, not far from Crkvena Vodica village. Serb villagers fired back. No casualties were reported. Armed Albanian groups set ablaze for Serbian houses, belonging to Dobric family. The village Serbs, fled several days ago to Klina, due to frequent attacks of armed Albanians. A group of armed Albanians kidnapped four passengers from the "Djakovica prevoz" bus near by settlement Crnoljevo, on the Prizren - Stimlje road, at about 2 PM. Stamen Genov, Vojko and Ivan Bakrac, as well as an unidentified passenger at his twenty were kidnapped. The kidnappers, who introduced themselves as KLA members were armed with assault rifles, let the other passengers, who were Albanians, to continue the trip. Armed groups of Albanians kidnapped more then 40 Serbs in the last two months in Drenica and Metohija region. There were no casualties reported. Groups of armed Albanians attacked Serbian houses in Josanica and Jelovac villages, municipality of Klina, at 7:30 PM. Desanka Barovic from Josanica was wounded during the attack. She was shot at her leg by a sniper, while trying to run across her yard. She was transported to the Pec hospital. Serbs from Josanica and Jelovac fired back and, after few hours of fight, they made the attackers retreat. June 30: Police took control of Ade village, , at about noon. During the last week, groups of armed Albanians had been shooting from this village against the security workers and police, who were located in "Belacevac" and "Dobro selo" coal mines. The police neutralized snipers and fortifications, from which the armed groups of Albanians opened fire against the coal pit security and security forces. There were no casualties reported with the police members. Almost all citizens of Ade village left their homes and fled to the neighboring villages. The Drenovac Serbs, self-organizing the defense of the village, at present, are rejecting the attacks successfully. At least, eight Albanians got killed during the attack made by the Albanian extremists against the Yugoslav Army border guards in the bordering zone northwest of Djakovica. An Albanian armed group attacked Yugoslav border guards by assault rifles and mortars. Yugoslav border guards fired back and killed, at least, eight attackers, while others ran away. The group consisted of foreign mercenaries, as the attackers wore black uniforms. Ilber Topali (33) from village Grebno near by Urosevac, was wounded in front of the Court district building , at about 1 PM. During the interrogation, Topali, who was suspected for a felony of conspiracy for enemy activities, tried to escape and guards shot and wounded him. Topali was transported to the Pristina hospital, and according to doctors on duty, his life was not in critical condition. July 1: Grujica Smigic (26) was killed, at about 8 PM in the village of Drsnik near by Klina during the armed Albanians attack against the Serbian houses in this village. Some Serbian houses were damaged, during the attack. Heavy armed Albanian groups shot from automatic weapon, anti tank launchers and mortars. Serbs from the village, fired back, and repulsed the attack. July 2: The policeman Dragan Terzin was wounded at around 10 AM, during the attack made by armed group of Albanians against the police near by Prilep village, on the Decani-Djakovica road. Heavy-armed groups of Albanians repeatedly attacked Serbian houses in villages Dolovo, Drenovac, Kijevo and Grabanica in Klina municipality. Policeman Mica Mikic was wounded during the attack against Dolovo, at about 3 p.m. He was wounded in lower leg and was transported to the Pec hospital, where he undergone surgical treatment. Serbs who themselves organized protection of the villages mentioned above, fired back and repulsed the attacks. July 3: This morning, at 6:15 AM, strong explosion blew out a few cars and windows on the buildings in Dardanija, Kralja Petra I Oslobodioca street, in Pristina. There were no casualties. At 07:30, the police took control over Kijevo and the area. This village, settled approximately 40 kilometers away from Pristina, on the road to Pec, was under the control of heavy-armed groups of Albanians, during past four weeks. Regular shift was carried out on the police checkpoint in Kijevo this morning, and the village was supplied with food and medicines. July 4: Groups of armed Albanians attacked Movljane village, Suva Reka municipality, where 20 Serbian families live, at about 1 PM. On the road between this village and Recane, heavy-armed groups of Albanians attacked the police unit that was on the way to help inhabitants of Movljane village. Attackers fired by machine-guns, mortars and assault rifles against the police. The police fired back and the attackers ran away. The police found trenches, bunkers and tents, and seized large quantity of weapons, left by extremists while running away toward nearby forests. Machine-guns, mortars, assault rifles, as well as, large amount of hand grenades, and ammunition were seized. At around 7 PM, armed groups of Albanians kidnapped three Serbs nearby villages Movljane and Recane, Suva Reka municipality. Krsta Jevtic (1979) and Dejan Jovic (1979) from Movljane village and Stanko Stankovic (1950) from Recane village were kidnapped. The three of them were guarding the livestock on the meadow nearby Movljane village. Armed groups of Albanians kidnapped more than 60 Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, during past two months. The policeman Sasa Jankelin was wounded during the attack against the police patrol at 1:30 PM, nearby Prilep village, on the Pec-Djakovica road. July 5: At 6:30 AM, a heavy-armed group of Albanians fired by automatic weapons against the houses of Vujosevic and Vukicevic families in Lodja village, a few kilometers far from Pec. Serbs from this village, together with the police, repulsed the attack, and the armed group of Albanians withdrew towards Grabovac village. Group of armed Albanians attacked police patrol in Lodje village, near Pec, at about 2 PM. Police fired back and the attackers ran away. Group of armed Albanians attacked Serbian houses in Belica village, near Istok, at about 4 PM. The attackers opened fire from the automatic weapons. Serbs from the village fired back. Afterwards, a police unit helped them and made the attackers retreat. Since early morning, KLA repeatedly attacked Serbian houses in Lodja village, three kilometers far from Pec, as well as the policemen who came to help inhabitants of this village. July 6: Policemen Mirko Radunovic and Dejan Prelevic were killed during these morning attacks made by heavy-armed Albanians against the police. Policemen Goran Novakovic, Dejan Drljevic, Dragan Keseljevic, Zeljko Novicevic, Josif Vukic and Borivoje Kuc were wounded, the surgeons on duty confirmed in Pec hospital, where the wounded were transported. The police had made the heavy-armed Albanians retreated from Lodje to Grabac village, where KLA are concentrated. Municipal authorities assumed that Albanian extremists killed them, because of the fact that, Muhamed Eljsani was among the Albanians loyal to the state authorities. July 7: Police evacuated 11 civilians, who had been surrounded by the armed Albanian extremists, from Lodje village and Brezanik settlement, near Pec, during the night During the action, two policemen, who had been blocked in the village, were also evacuated. During the clashes that occurred yesterday, armed groups of Albanians, among whom there were foreign mercenaries, suffered great loses Pec municipal authorities reported. The same source quoted that the police had confiscated a large quantity of ammunition, left during the armed Albanians withdrawal. The surgeons on duty claimed Djordjevic was wounded in his arm and his wound was not life threatening. July 9: Two Albanians were killed and one was wounded at about 2:30 AM, not far from Cafa Prusit border barrack, south of Djakovica, while trying to illegally transport larger quantities of weapon from Albania into Yugoslavia. The three of them, ordered by Yugoslav border guards to put down the weapon, fired against making the border guards fired back. July 10: Numerous heavy-armed Albanian groups tried to bring in weapon and ammunition from Albania into Yugoslavia. Two Albanians were killed, early this morning, close to Vrbnica village, west of Prizren, when the Albanian armed group tried to bring in large quantities of weapon from Albania into Yugoslavia. The Albanian armed group started shooting against the Yugoslav border guards, while attempting to illegally enter Yugoslav territory, and they fired back. Large quantities of weapon and ammunition were seized then. Also, around midnight, heavy-armed Albanian group tried to illegally enter the Yugoslav territory from Albania, west of Prizren close to Gorozup border barracks. Yugoslav border guards fired against and the Albanian armed group withdrew back to Albanian territory. Some 30 armed Albanians tried to bring in large quantities of weapon and ammunition from Albania intoYugoslavia last night at 9:30 PM, close to Kosare village, northwest of Djakovica. They clashed with the Yugoslav border guards. The clashes lasted until 8 AM and there were notable casualties reported among the Albanian armed group. Policeman Slobodan Radic was wounded at around 10 AM during the attack armed Albanians made against the police checkpoint in Gornja Klina on Kosovska Mitrovica - Srbica road. JULY 30 A policemen reservist named Zlatko Petrovic from Kosovska KAMenica was killed last night at 1:30 AM in the area of Malisevo. A single bullet hit Petrovic, supposedly, fired from a sniper riffle AUGUST 1 Albanian secessionist heavily armed forces of KLA attacked Yugoslav army units in the area of villages Smonica, Korenica and Berjak, northeast of Djakovica, last night. Yugoslav Army soldiers, Media Centar was reported, are firing back and the clashes are still underway. AUGUST 2 Yugoslav army unit, stationed nearby Lake Radonjic, northeast of Djakovica, was fired by mortars and automatic weapon early in the morning. Groups of KLA attacked police checkpoints in Josanica and Dusevic villages in the morning. The attack was made from the direction of Ovcarevo village, east of Klina, that is considered to be one of the most heavily armed Albanian extremist stronghold. The police checkpoint nearby Prilip village, on the Decani - Djakovica road, was attacked by mortars, heavy machine guns and automatic weapons, at about 10 AM. The fire came from the direction of Prilip village. The police fired. Two policemen were killed and two others were wounded in the attack by a heavily armed group of terrorist, members of KLA against the police checkpoint, near by Prilip village, on the Decani - Djakovica road, at about 10 AM. The policemen Elvis Suljevic (29) and Nenad Belosevic (25), who worked at the Pec police station, were killed. Police reservist Miomir Stojanovic, as well as policeman Ljubisa Maksimovic from Pec were wounded. AUGUST 3 The police neutralized Albanian groups of extremist this morning, in Smonica village, northeast of Djakovica. More than ten armed Albanian extremists were killed in clashes near by Smonica, the Djakovica. In the last several months, Smonica has been considered as a place where armed Albanian extremists have been constantly attacking police patrols and Yugoslav Army vehicles. The police crashed apart the armed Albanian extremist strongholdsnear by Jablanica village, west of Klina, afternoon. Two Albanian extremist groups tried to enter illegally from Republic of Albania into FR Yugoslavia within the area of "Koznjar" border barracks, northwest of Djakovica at 8 PM. Three armed Albanians were killed during the clash, while the rest of, withdrew to the territory of Albania. AUGUST 4 Police forces neutralized heavily armed groups of Albanians extremistsin Lausa village, nearby Srbica, in the morning. The police control the whole region of Lausa and surrounding villages, from where, Albanian extremists had been attacking police. The Prokuplje District Court brought criminal charges against 50 Albanians, who were suspected to have intended to join the armed Albanian extremists as volunteers in Kosovo and Metohija. They cAMe with the "Fati tours" coach-liner from Switzerland and Slovenia to Kosovo and Metohija, and they had been stopped at the Podujevo police checkpoint. They were found with a large AMount of foreign currency. Another group tried to intrude in FR of Yugoslavia this morning at 4 AM. The group fired afterbeing warned by the border guards, who also fired back. There were five armed Albanians killed during theclash. There were no casualties reported AMong the Yugoslav Army border guards. A larger quantity of weapon and AMmunition, including a recoiless cannon, then, 60 mortar grenades and 300 hand grenades were confiscated. AUGUST 5 Albanians from Ramoc village, near by Djakovica, willingly handed over 32 automatic riffles and several mortars They had been given this weapon earlier by members of KLA. Albanians from RAMoc reported that they handed over the weapon, because they did not want conflicts, orto belong to any terrorist or secessionist organization. Villagers of Ramoc are ethnic Albanians of catholic religion. AUGUST 8 Citizens of two Albanian villages in Djakovica municipality surrenderedto the police weapons given by the Albanian separatists. Only in one village, 50 assault rifles, 5 heavy machine-guns and 5 mortars were surrendered to the police, Djakovica. For the time being, municipal authorities did not announce nAMes of the villages, because the citizens arestill in danger of the Albanian separatists, according to the authorities' claims. Groups of Albanian separatists have been routed in the area of Drenica and Metohija, and especially in the border villages toward Albania. The groups repeatedly fired at the police and the Albanian citizens who were returning to their homes, by snipers andassault rifles. The main goal of these actions was to prevent the Albanian citizens to return to their villages. However, the Albanians that had fled their villages are still coming back, according to the respectivesources. Only in Glogovac, some 3,000 Albanians who had escaped to the nearby forests because of the armed clashes, cAMe back. It was repeatedly fired last night by the automatic weapon against. Three houses, belonging to Simic fAMily, situated at the end of the village the Serbian houses in Leskovac village, Klina municipality, had been attacked. No casualties were reported. During the police positions and houses in the villages of Bica, Drenovcic and Siroko Polje in Klina municipality came under attack of KLA. The attackers fired by the automatic weapon, and Police officers Mirko Kojda, Nebojsa Arsic and Petar Kovacevic were wounded during the attack against a police checkpoint, at about 10 PM, near theplace called Pobrdje, Decane municipality. They were transported to the Pec hospital, and according to the doctors' statements, their state is stable. Police checkpoint in the place called Suka Erecka, near Babaloc in Decane municipality, was attacked by the automatic weapon and snipers, at about 11 PM. The attack was executed from the nearby forests. An hour later, few mortar shells were fired from Beleg village against Decane. AUGUST 9 Several police checkpoints that protect Decani-Djakovica road wereattacked by snipers and automatic weapon in the morning. It was repeatedly fired against the police near Prilep, Erec and Babaloc. The attack was executed by the groups of Albanian terrorists from the direction of Voksa village, Decani. District attorney's office in Kosovska Mitrovica have brought criminalcharges against Ekrem Evdija, Spend Kopriva, Nedzmedin Lausa, MuhAMed Avdija, SAMir Hotli and AlijaHotli from Kosovska Mitrovica, under suspicion they were members of "Mujahedin" unit in the KLA. It was quoted in the charges they had formed "Mujahedin" unit according to the instructions of certain Abdulah Duhajman, citizen of Saudi Arabia. Mujahedin unit, called "Abu Bekir Sadik", consisting of Muslim fanatics, was located in the region of Drenica. Its members wore black uniforms and they were fAMous for their brutality in the clashes in this part of Kosovo and Metohija. Albanian terrorists killed four policemen near by Prilip settlement, on the Decani - Djakovica road. Policeman Zdravomir Bukilic (28), from Decani, worked in police station in Djakovica, was killed by automatic weapon at about 1:30 PM In the Albanian terrorist's attack, policemen Zoran Djokic (28), Srdjan Draskovic (31) and Bojan Kocic (23) worked in police station in Leskovac, were killed. Policeman Stojan Stojmenovic from Vranje was badly wounded at about 1 PM near by Dujak village, Decani municipality. He was transported for further medical treatment in the Belgrade Military Hospital, and his wounds are not life threatening. Near by Bites village, Djakovica municipality, policeman Miroslav Petrovic from was badly wounded at about 7:30 AM. He was transported to the Hospital, where he had been given first aid, and he was transported to Belgrade for further medical treatment. AUGUST 10 Three members of terrorist KLA were killed in an armed conflict in Gabrica village, Dura hAMlet, nearby the Urosevac - Strpce road, at about 5:30 AM when they attacked the police patrol. Policeman Zoran Jovanovic (25), worked in Podujevo, was killed in conflict with KLA in Bites village, Djakovica municipality. AUGUST 11 Yugoslav army border guards prevented an armed group of Albanians to enter illegally from Yugoslavia to Albania, near by the Deva border post, at about 1 AM. One of the attackers was killed, and one is wounded. Six policemen were wounded during the attack of KLA against the police check-points near Prilep, Rastavica and Glodjani villages, beside Decani - Djakovica road, in the early afternoon. Police took action of neutralizing snipers and mortars locations, as well as fortifications of the Albanian extremists. KLA fired against the police by mortars, from Junik village. The police have been holding this village in Decane municipality under blockade for more than a week. Few dozens of mortar shells had been fired against the police from Junik. The police did not fire back. Krueziu Djemailj (35) was killed at about 1 AM, in front of his house in Suva Reka. As the eyewitnesses claim, people in mask uniforms with, KLA insignia,fired against him by the assault rifles. Members of his fAMily reported the murder to the. Heavy-armed Albanian extremist groups attacked police positions by mortars and automatic weapon, near Drenovac village, beside Klina-Pec road, at about 3 PM A policeman was wounded. Regular bus transportation on Kosovska Mitrovica-Srbica relation,started working again. Bus transportation on this relation was stopped more than three months ago, because the Albanianextremists had been attacking police and civil vehicles, on this section of Kosovska Mitrovica - Pec highway. Policeman Srecko Garadzic was wounded in Albanian extremists attack made by mortars not far away from Glodjane in the morning. Village Birac, Suva reka municipality, was attacked by mortars and automatic weapon. The attack was made from the direction of Slopusani village. AUGUST 12 In Muhadzeri HAMlet, Radovan Stepic (39) from Drenovac village was killed, and Vladimir Stasic from Duga Njiva was wounded and transported to the Pec Albanian terrorists shot them from an AMbush by automatic weapon while they were returning from chopping the woods in forest. Albanian extremists committed many attacks on the police andcivilians alongside the Decane - Djakovica road in last two days. Policmen Djuro Vabaros and Mile Nikolic were lightly wounded in the attack against the police near byGlodjane. Policeman Milen Gasic was wounded near to Erec village, at about 10 AM. KLA used mortars against police position at Erecka hillock, near to Babaloc, close to Decani. Albanian terrorists attacked civilians and the police in one of the Decane's village called Pobrdje. Albanians from Firaj village handed over weapon, which they had been given in last several months by members of terrorist KLA, to the polioday. Eight machineguns, several antitank launchers, many automatic and semi automatic riffles, as well as4000 bullets were handed over to the police. This is the ninth Albanian village in Djakovica municipality where citizens handed over weapon toauthorities in last week. "Elektrokosmet" crews have started to fix long - distance power linethat supply part of Metohija, Djakovica - Pec section, with electricity. Albanian extremists have mined ten long - distance power line poles during the last two days, so this partof Metohija ran out of electricity. The long - distance power line will be repaired soon as it is assumed. Police took control of Glodjane village, situated southeast of Decane, at 2:30 PM. This village was one of the strongest bases of Albanian extremists during the last few months. The police broke down strong terrorist bases in Glodjane and its surroundings, from which the terrorists repeatedly attacked police, army and civilians, along Decani - Djakovica road. During the attacks, five policemen got killed, as well as two Yugoslav Army soldiers, while more than ten policemen were lightly or severely wounded. Braking down of the terrorist base in Glodjane enabled normalization of the traffic on Decani - Djakovica section. Police positions from which access roads to Junik, southwest of Decani, are controlled, were attacked by mortars, as well as during the last three days. The police have been holding Junik under blockade for ten days already. There have been several hundreds of Albanian extremists who had refused several calls for surrender. The police did not fire back. The police have seized large quantity of weapon and AMmunition duringbreaking down terrorist strongholds of Albanian separatists. AUGUST 13 There were repeated clashes within various groups of the separatist, KLA in Junik, during the last few days. According to the Albanian civilian statements that left Junik, the Albanian extremist group commanders Naim Maljoku and Naim Tofaj, were wounded during one of the clashes. According to the respective source, they were wounded while trying to escape from Junik to Albania, but,during the attempt, the other extremist group did not let them do so. Maljoku and Tofaj have been medically treated in an improvised hospital in Tofaj settlement, near Junik. Extremists are shooting the Albanians from Junik who intend to surrender to the police, Albanian civilians, that left Junik, declared to the police and municipal authorities. AUGUST 15 KLA attacked police forces,protecting Decani-Pec road, by automatic weapon and mortars, early in the morning. The attacks were made from the direction of Voksa village. The clashes took place in the surrounding of Lodja village, nearby Pec. The police have been pushing back the attackers from the area towards nearby forests. Since afternoon, police forces have completely controlled wide area of Voksa village, southeast from Decane. In the morning, KLA had attacked police forces that protectthe Djakovica - Decane - Pec road. The police responded on the attack, and the groups of Albanian extremists ran away to the nearby forces. Two grenades were launched by an anti-tank launcher at Yugoslav territory from the Albanian territory, in the area of Kosare border barrack, northwest of Djakovica, at about midnight. The incident happened at the spot where an illegal intrusion of the terrorists and the armAMent was most often attempted to be illegally brought into Yugoslavia from Albania. Local joint commission was informed about the incident, but there was no response from the Albanian side. AUGUST 17 Yugoslav Army border guards noticed a person wearing Albanian Army uniform, and three children, several dozen meters in the depth of Yugoslav territory, in the area of Morina border barrack, west of Djakovica, at about 8 AM. Following the border guards warning the person in uniform returned to Albania and fired rifle against the Yugoslav soliders. Three children were safely returned to the territory of Albania, by the border guards. Border guards estimated that it was an act of testing the possibilities for the infiltration of terrorist groups. Police officers Dragan Stojanovic and Zoran Anicic were killed. Dragan Stojanovic, a member of Kursumlija Police Department was killed during the Albanian extremistattack against the police in Blace village, Suva Reka municipality. Zoran Anicic, a member of Belgrade Police Department, was killed in the clash with Albanian extremists inLjubenic village area, Pec municipality. The police found the bodies of policeman Srdjan Perovic and reserve police officer Milorad Rajkovic, members of Pec Police Department, during the field search, in Lodja villageclose to. Perovic, whose rank was the police captain, and Rajkovic were kidnapped during the fighting between the police and Albanian extremists in Lodje village, dated July 6. Perovic's body was found massacred. KLA attacked the police patrol by sniper rifles, at 12 PM, in Stari Trg village near by Kosovska. Policeman Nebojsa Boljevic, a member of Kosovska Mitrovica Police Department was wounded during this attack. AUGUST 18 Yugoslav border guards, patrolling in the region of Kosare northwest of Djakovica, cAMe under fire of the automatic weapon, from the direction of Albania at about 9 AM. Few rifle grenades were also fired. Yugoslav border guards prevented an attempt of illegal entry of some 20 armed Albanian extremists from Albania into Yugoslavia, in the region of Gorozup border barrack, west of Prizren, at about 12 PM. When discovered, the illegal group was about a kilometer deep in Yugoslav territory. Following theYugoslav border guards' warning, they fired. During the clash, five members of the illega lgroup got killed, while the others ran back to Albanian territory. The Yugoslav border guards captured 10 heavy machine-guns, a recoilless canon, about 10,000 bullets ofvarious caliber and large AMount of other military facilities. AUGUST 19 A group of armed Albanian extremists attacked police patrol in Cerovik village, nearby Klina, on the road between Cabic and Kijevo villages, at about 7 AM. During the attack, Sergeant Miroslav Klasnja (35), a traffic policeman from Belgrade. The patrol was attacked from the AMbush and nearby houses, by the automatic weapon and hand-launchers. The police forces took control of Zociste village, nearby Orahovac, afternoon. Following the attack of Orahovac, July 18., Albanian extremists kidnapped 27 old men and 8 monks from the local monastery, who were released, thanks to the International Red Cross. One of the oldest Serbian Orthodox Church monasteries in Kosovo and Metohija is situated in Zociste. Armed Albanian extremists from the village attacked police positions in the nearby village, called Velika Hoca, early in the morning. The police fired back and the Albanian extremists started retreating towards Opterusa and Retimlje villages. Then the police took control of Zociste village, and the clashes are underway. During the attack against Orahovac, July 18., the Albanian extremists kidnapped a certain number of Serbs from Opterusa and Retimlje villages and took them away in an unknown direction. During the routine control, a police patrol was attacked from "VW Golf" car, during the night, between Armed groups of Albanian extremists made several attacks against the police positions in Zociste village, near Orahovac. The attacks were executed by automatic weapon, hand-launchers and mortars. Policeman Goran Vostic, working for Djakovica police, was wounded during the attack. According to thedoctors' statements, his state is stable. Policeman Milomir Krvavac was killed in 's Albanian extremists attack against the police forces in Zociste village, near by Orahovac. Krvavac (33) in Krusevo village, municipality Pljevlja, was policeman in Djakovica. Albanian extremists shot him by hand launcher grenade. Policeman Goran Vostic was wounded in the sAMe attack. AUGUST 21 Policeman reservist Goran Milenkovic (27) was killed at about 11 PM , in Lapusnik village, in attack on police positions. There was shootings on police positions by automatic weapon. Deceased Milenkovic was born in Lipljan (27), and as a reservist, he was assigned in the Lipljan police department formation. AUGUST 22 Albanian extremist-armed groups continued attacking the police forces in Zociste village, Orahovac. The attacks were made from the directions of Retimlje, Dobrodeljani, SAModreza and Pecani villages. Simultaneously, Albanian extremists attacked the police positions in Malisevo. Those attacks were made from the direction of Banje village. Yugoslav Army positions close to Dulje village on Stimlje - Prizren road, were atatcked by automatic weapons. AUGUST 23 Radio journalist Djuro Slavuj and driver Ranko Perinic disappeared two nights ago. The bodies of Ljatife Koljoli (45) and her daughter Ruse Koljoli (18) were found near the Suva Reka - Prizren road. They had been killed by automatic weapon, and they were found with their hands tightened, and with blinds on their eyes. They had been killed by Albanian extremists, due to their fAMily's loyalty to authorities. According to the police from Djakovica and Pec Municipalities information, Albanians handed over 476 pieces of different weapons, that they had been armed forcefully by Albanian extremists. The police were handed over 46 machine and heavy machine guns, as well as 20 hand launchers, 9 mortars, 313 grenades, 81 mortar mines and 455,000 bullets of different caliber. At 8 AM, the police patrol was attacked near by Stankovce village, close to Komorane, Glogovac municipality. The attackers fired by automatic weapon and mortars. At 9:30 AM, KLA group attacked the police patrol and Yugoslav Army unit using automatic weapons and mortars, near by Careva Cesma village, close to Komorane, on -Pec road. The attackers shot from the woods on the left side of the road. The police and Yugoslav Army soldiers fired back and the clash lasted for several hours. Later on, the attackers ran away. One of the attackers was wounded and the police transported him to hospital. Police officer Goran Andric (23) from Belgrade was killed in attacks against the police on the road - Prizren, near Dulje, Suva Reka, while four policemen were badly wounded. Andric was killed around 9 AM near Dulje. Also, policeman Dusan Barac was badly wounded. AUGUST 24 KLA attacked the police and Yugoslav Army Units in the Komorane surrounding 9 AM by automatic weapon, hand grenade launchers and mortars. KLA attacked the police and Yugoslav Army positions, using mortars, machine guns and assault rifles, close to Dulje village, on the road, early in the morning. The attack was repeated by mortars and automatic weapon at about 2 PM, and the policeman, Stanislav Drinic and the Prizren Police Station commander assistant VladislavKrivokapic were badly wounded during the attack. Police officer Slavoljub Paunovic from Prokuplje was badly wounded in Restane village, Suva RekA municipality at 6:50 PM. The AMbulance belonging to Klina Health Center was attacked on the road between Grabanica and Zajmovo villages, Klina municipality, at 6:40 AM. Men wearing cAMouflage uniforms with the insignia of KLA shot by assaultrifles against the car. Pren Rapi, a doctor in Klina Health Center, a driver Mark Dedaj and Imer Morina were lightly injured, while Rahime Morina, a patient who was transported to Pec Hospital for kidney-dialysis was not injured. AUGUST 25 Enver Hoti's car was shot, on the road between Zajmovo and Drenovacvillages, Klina municipality, yesterday morning. Luckily, all three passen bullet scattered car stayed uninjured. The attack was made from nearby woods, where groups of KLA were hiding,according to Klina municipal authorities information. Yesterday afternoon, Hus Badali's car was shot, on Prizren - Zur road. The car was shot by 10 assault rifle bullets. The driver was not injured. AUGUST 26 Heavily armed groups of Albanian extremists attacked police positionsby automatic weapon and mortars near by Dulje settlement, on the - Prizren road, at about 8 PM. Yesterday afternoon policeman Nenad Radojcic from was heavily wounded in the attack against the police near by Dulje settlement, on the - Prizren road. He was transported to the Prizren hospital, and according to the doctors on duty statement, he is out oflife danger. A police patrol was attacked last night, at about 1 AM, in Banjicavillage, Kacanik municipality. The police fired back and the attackers ran away. No policeman was reported wounded. A police patrol was attacked last night, at about 7 PM, in Rakovinavillage, Djakovica municipality. The coup was committed by automatic weapon and mortars from thedirection of KrAMljane village. At about 11 PM , groups of Albanian extremistsattacked police stations in Lausa and Gornja Klina, Srbica municipality. AUGUST 27 A group of Albanian extremists attacked police checkpoint at theentrance in Podujevo, at 3:45 AM . The coup was committed by hand launchers and mortars, and no casualties were reported. The police fired back on the attack. AUGUST 28 Police forces broke down Albanian extremists' strongholds in Klecka village, ten kilometres north of Dulje. The police control the whole area. According to the first reports, a location of KLA headquarter, as well as a large documentation, with lists of members and plans of the organization were found in Klecka village. According to the words of a captured Albanian extremist the place where Albanian extremists executecivilians by shooting was identified. Investigation Court Authorities brought criminal charges against these crimes. Large AMount of weapon, as well as food, mainly distributed by humanitarian organizations, were found inKlecka village. AUGUST 29 At about 10 AM police forces killed 7 terrorists in Donja Susica village, Klina municipality. The group of the Albanian extremists attacked the police in the morning. The clash had lasted over two hours. There were no casualties reported AMong the police. According to Klina municipal authorities those were the remainings of broken terrorist groups withdrawingto Drenica. 2 Two policemen were wounded, while 15 separatist members of KLA were killed in clashes in Bilusa, Zagradska Hoca, Leskovec and Lez villages, as well as, in Tusus settlement near Prizren. The police officers Miroslav Rakonjac from Prokuplje and Miroljub Ristic from Nis were badly wounded at about 3 PM in Lez village. Their lives, according to the surgeon statement, are not jeopardized. The police arrested 15 members of this terrorist organization and have forwarded them to the investigationauthorities. The clash occurred yesterday morning, when heavy-armed Albanian extremist groups made synchronizedattacks against the police in the settlements, not far from Prizren. The attackers fired from assault riffles, machine guns and anti-tank launchers. SEPTEMBER 2 Heavy armed Albanian extremist groups repeated their attackagainst the police in Bilusa, Zagradska Hoca and Leskovec villages, as well as, in a part of Tusus settlement near Prizren. The police fired back and the attackers ran away. The search against the rest of heavy-armed Albanianextremist groups, that attacked the police, is still underway. The source mentioned claims, no casualties AMong the police were reported. A policeman Bratislav Miljkovic from Prizren was badly wounded during the clash in Jeskovo village 15:30 PM. The clash started early morning hours, when Albanian extremist groups attacked the police positions, occupied a day before. The had captured large quantities of weapon, mainly of Chinese make, that the Albanian extremists were throwing while runningaway. SEPTEMBER 3 At least 20 members of the separatist KLAwere killed in yesterday's clashes around Ljubicevo and Jeskovo villages, south of Prizren. Well-equipped hospital, in which, the separatist KLA was medically treating its wounded, was discoveredin Ljubicevo village.Heavy armed Albanian extremist groups made several synchronized attacks against the police early this morning close to Iglarevo village, on the road -Pec, as well as close to Drenovac village, Klina Commune and close to HrAMovik village, on the road Djakovica - Klina. These,in fact, were armed Albanian separatists, crashed during last week clashes, who are now trying to cut the roads in this part of Metohija.An armed Albanian group had kidnapped 13 Albanians, the workersof "Javor" department of "Srbijasume" state owned company and led them in an unknown. A bulldozer, dredge and other machines were stolen from the department, the sAMe source claims. Tun Kaznjeti, deputy president of Djakovica commune board of Socialist Party of Serbia was reported missing the day before yesterday in the afternoon hours. His fAMily,reporting the commune authorities of his absence, claimed he disappeared somewhere on a village roadbetween Dobribar and Djakovica.Thirteen Albanians, the workers of "Javor" department in Belasica village, near Podujevo, that had been taken in an unknown direction by armed Albanians yesterday, werereleased , Podujevo commune authorities confirmed Media Centar. They stated to the authorities that they had been robed and maltreated by the Albanian extremists, who had also stolen the machinery and had demolished the rest of the department equiPMent. Policeman Jovica Stojkovic from was badly wounded at about 4 PM, in the surrounding of Drenovac village. SEPTEMBER 4 The clashes between the police and armed Albanian extremists in the area continued also morning. The police searches for the ramaing members of KLA. Albanian extremists suffered significant losses and large quantities of weaponand military equiPMent were confiscated. In the morning, a group of Albanians handed over anti-armoredrocket system "Armbrust", as well as 14 automatic riffles and 50 grenades to the police in Zur, settlementon the Prizren - Dragas road. In villages Zagradska Hoca, Biluste and Posliste, southern of Prizren, groups of Albanians handed over large quantity of weapon to the police in the morning. 17 heavy machine guns, 89 assault riffles, 59 semi automatic riffles, 5 hand launchers and 3 mortars, aswell as a large AMount of bullets and mines was handed over. Police was also handed over radio link equiPMent. In the clashes between the police and Albanian extremist groups, near by the villages south of Prizren, the police arrested more than 60 KLA members. SEPTEMBER 5 More than five thousand Albanians returned to Labucevo, Ponorac, Volujak, Svrhe and Rudaj villages, south of Klina. During past days, they had fled to nearbyforests because of the clashes. The police distributed initial quantities of food and medicine to the citizens. The police captured some 250 Albanians in the forests close to Ponorac village, south of Klina. They have been suspected of being the members of the separatist formations of KLA. Most of the captured had thrown away their weapon and uniforms in surrounding forests before they were caught. During the search of the terrain, the police found large quantities of weapon and military equiPMent, as wellas the uniforms with the insignia of the separatist KLA. The police liberated Tun Kaznjeti, deputy president of Djakovica board of Socialist Party of Serbia this morning, in the forest, not far from Ponorac village, south of Klina. Albanian extremists had kidnapped him four days ago just near Djakovica. SEPTEMBER 6 About one thousand Albanians returned to Bec, Molic, Brovina,Batusa and Ponosevac villages, west of Djakovica. They had hidden in near by forests because of theclashes in this area during past few months. Djakovica municipal authorities conduct cAMpaign for return of Albanians that fled the area, previouslyinsuring their complete safety. Albanians from Brdosan village, east of Djakovica, handed over their weapon to the authorities. A few months ago, members of Albanian terrorist groups armed them. Large quantities of automatic weapon, AMmunition and explosive were handed over. This is the sixteenth village in Djakovica municipality whose citizens handed over their weapon in past 20 days. SEPTEMBER 9 Near by village Glodjane, where the police found out the place where Albanian extremists execute civilians, investigation about the crime was carried out . Rade Gojkovic, the Pec district court attorney who is in charge for investigation, stated that 11 corpses ofkilled civilians were found on the place of the crime, happened at the branch of Decanska Bistrica river,and according to the eye-witnesses, Albanian extremists shot not less than 40 civilians. Police special teAMs are searching for the rest of the killed corpses, which are, as it is assumed, in themud of Radonjic Lake. TeAMs of coroners will continue with establishing of more details about the crime. 9 Near by Brnjaca village, Orahovac municipality, the police brokedown Albanian extremist group that was planning to attack the police in the region. Aslan Klecka (1946), one of the Albanian extremist group leader, that committed many crimes in theregion, especially in Klecka village, east of Malisevo, was killed in the clash. Police handed over Aslan Klecka's body to the Orahovac investigation authorities. Kosovo and Metohija ethnic Albanians from Gornja Luka village, east of Decane, handed over weapon, that were given to them by Albanian extremists, to the police. Large quantity of automatic weapon, mortars, hand grenades and AMmunition were handed over, accordingto the Decane municipal authorities. Tadija Radosavljevic (44) from Svinjare village, worker of "Trepca", was killed last night in the attack on Stari Trg committed by Albanian extremists last night. Attack on Stari trg started yesterday morning, and Media Centar was reported by the Kosovska MitrovicAMunicipal authorities, and lasted all night long. Groups of Albanian extremists fire from automatic weapon and mortars at the police station and on the"Trepca" mine objects. Albanian inhabitants of Istinic, Donja Luka, Gornji and Donji Streoc, Papracane and Dubovik, handed over weapon that they had been given, to the police at about 2 PM Large quantity of automatic weapon, mortars, explosive devices and AMmunition, as well as an antitankrocket system "Armbrust" made in Germany. The chief of Decane police Vukmir Mircic agreed in Istinic with representatives from five villages ofmentioned municipality upon handed over of weapon. In the area of Banjski Lug, west of Decani, policebroke down groups of Albanian extremists who had been attacking police and civilians in this area for thepast few months, Decani. Police seized large quantities of weapon and uniforms with separatist KLA marks,that Albanian extremists threw away and escape, according to the sAMe source. Last night at about 8:20 PM, a group of Albanian extremists incAMouflage-uniforms with KLA marks, killed Arsim Poniku from automatic weapon, infront of his house in 71 Zvecanska Street in Prizren. Yesterday, the police found the body of his uncle Asret Poniku who had been taken away by extremists. According to first results of investigation Asret Poniku was shot in his back by 16 bullets from automaticweapon. Investigation authorities are working on this crime, and the police are searching for the criminals. Haljim Krasnici, an Albanian from Banjina village, Glogovac municipality, was kidnapped, not far away from his village. The police was informed by his neighbors that Haljim was taken away in an unknown direction by threearmed Albanians wearing uniforms with KLA marks on them. SEPTEMBER 10 Investigation authorities have found 24 dead bodies up to now, atRatis place near Glodjane village, 10-km south - east of Decane, where the police found out the placewhere the Albanian extremists committed executions. Twenty dead bodies have been found in the canal downstreAM towards Radonjic Lake, and 4 dead bodieswere excavated , a hundred meters further towards Dasinovac village. It has been determined that two of the victims were men and the other two, were women. Expert teAMs are trying to identify the victims Victimshad visible signs of being previously tortured. Glodjane. The place of execution of civilians was visited by the representatives of diplomatic observation group from the USA and Russia. During last two days, Albanians from the village southeast of Decane surrendered larger quantities ofweapon, some thousand of assault rifles, machine-guns and light cannons. The village Albanian representatives requested full police protection. While running away, the Albanian extremist groups throw their weapon and uniforms, carrying the insigniaof the separatist KLA. A regular bus line Pec - Istinic - Decane was reestablished after a several month brake. SEPTEMBER 11 The separatist KLA suffered total defeat in Metohija region, between Decane and Klina. The police found hundreds of rifles and uniforms, carrying insignia of the separatist KLA, in the meadows and forests northeast of Decane, in the direction of Klina. Simultaneously, the weapon surrender action is underway also. The Albanians from these villagesorganized themselves and surrendered some two thousand pieces of various type of weapon. Assaultrifles, machine guns, anti tank launchers, mortars and hand grenades, as well as, several recoillesscanons were submitted to the police. The court investigation and medical experts continue theprocedure of determining the facts of crimes made by Albanian extremists not far from Glodjane,southeast of Decane. The canal water inflow, in which the victim corps had been found, was stopped, and specialized polieAMs and divers search the bottom of Radonjicko Lake for possible additional victims. Sinisa Mihajlovic, (35) a clerk in the Stimlje tax administrationoffice was killed last night near by Kosare village, on the Urosevac - Stimlje road. His car was riddled with bullets fired from automatic weapon, and his driver was not wounded. SEPTEMBER 12 In an investigation led upon crimes against civilians in the area of village Glodjane up to now corpses of 29 civilians, killed by Albanian extremists, have been found, investigation judge Rade Gojkovic. Corpses of killed people were transported to Djakovica for identification. Specialized scuba diver teAM is searching the bottom of the Radonjic Lake and water supply canal where,assumptively, might have been more corpses. Police teams found a young female corpse in a trunk of a car, pushed into the canal. Investigation upon crimes committed against civilians in the area of village Glodjane continues. Area between Glodjane village and the Radonjic Lake is being searched. Glodjane, Decanska Bistrica channel. KLA attacked the police patrol on Glogovac -Srbica road at 6:40 PM and policeman Goran Nikolic, the member of Vranje police department, was badly wounded. A reservist policeman Nebojsa Vicentijevic (27) from Kosovska Mitrovica was killed at 9 PM in Likovac village, Srbica commune. SEPTEMBER 13 The citizens of Albanian nationality kept on surrendering theweapon, received by the separatist KLA, in the Pec commune. Some 150 pieces of various automatic and semi-automatic weapons were surrendered in Barane, Celopek, Krusevac and Vranovac villages. The police headquarters remind these were the Albanians who, due to the clashes, fled during the pastdays, and now are returning to their villages and started surrendering the weapons. SEPTEMBER 14 Around noon, representatives of Canadian diplomatic -observing group visited police positions in the area of village Likovac, Drenica region. After the visit, Canadian diplomats, despite the police warning, were heading to the positions held by members of secessionist KLA in Donje Obrinje village. Their car bumped onto land mine not far from Donje Obrinje and car turned over after the explosion. KLA simultaneously started to shoot from the direction of Donje Obrinje by automatic weapon and mortars toward the police positions. Nevertheless, the police headed to the place where the car turned over. The police and Canadian diplomats succeeded tomake a radio contact, a woman, who was in the car with two Canadian diplomats, was lightly wounded. The police succeeded to evacuate three members of Canadian diplomatic - observing group, at 4:45 PM . Canadian diplomats were safely evacuated from the region of Donje Obrnje village, where from, Albanian extremists have been still shooting against the police. A woman member of the Canadian teAM was was wounded in the hand. Two other diplomats suffered no wounds. Policeman Marinko Kandic (1965) from Pec was killed around 5 PM, nearby Stari Trg, Kosovska Mitrovica municipality. Policeman Nenad Jovanovic was badly wounded in this area, and he was transported to the Kosovska Mitrovica. Also, three policemen were lightly wounded. The police latter broke down heavily armed groups of Albanian extremists, between Stari Trg and Bajgora village, north east of Kosovska Mitrovica. Six members of secessionist, KLA, wearing black uniforms were killed. SEPTEMBER 16 Specialized medical and court - investigation teAMs have found 34 civilians body remains, who had been killed by Albanian extremists, up to now, nearby Glodjane village, south east of Decane, in an intake water canal nearby the Lake Radonjic. Bodies identification process is in progress, and special scuba diving teAMs are still searching the bottomof the Radonjic Lake, where, it has been assumed, might have been more remains of victims. Several corpses were transported to Djakovica. The coroners have been trying to identify them. Yesterday around 9 AM , a group of ten armed men intruded into FR Yugoslavia from Albania and started to shot against Yugoslav Army border soldiers in the area ofsummer border post nAMed "Bosko Zilovic", on the slopes of Djeravica mountain. Armed terrorist, using the fog and the rain, intruded into territory of Yugoslavia and shot from automaticweapon and hand rocket launchers. Two grenades fell very near to the border post. Yugoslav Army border soldiers fired back and the attackers returned to the territory of Albania. No border soldier was reported casualty. Border post "Bosko Zilovic" is situated at the junction of three borders, AMongst Serbia, Montenegro and Albania on inaccessible terrain and it is to be used when weather conditions allow it, mainlyduring summer. SEPTEMBER 17 Policemen Aleksandar Savic and Dragan Kovacevic were badly wounded attacks made by the Albanian extremists against the police near HuseinovicMahale village northeast of Kosovska Mitrovica. They were transported to Kosovska Mitrovica hospital and their lives are not endangered. Also, two more policemen were lightly wounded. Albanian extremists repeatedly attacked the police, usingautomatic weapons and mortars, this morning in the villages northeast of Kosovska Mitrovica. SEPTEMBER 19 Policeman reservist Ilija Jankovic (40) from Pec succumbed his wounds at the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade. He was wounded during the attack of Albanian extremists made yesterday at 3 PM not far from Barane village, Pec commune. After first aid was administered in the Pec hospital, Jankovic was transported to Belgrade by helicopter. The attack against the police not far from Barane village was made from the automatic weapons. SEPTEMBER 21 Three policemen were killed in the Albanian extremists' yesterdayattacks against the police at the Cicavica Mountain spurs, northwest of Pristina, Media Centar wasconfirmed by the Pristina police headquarters.Policeman named Branislav Milenkovic (1956) from Nis was killed in the Albanian extremists' attacks notfar from Poluza village, Glogovac commune.Slobodan Gorjanovic from Novi Sad was killed near Dobrosevac village, Glogovac commune, while MilosBradic (1963) was killed not far from Osljane village, Vucitrn commune.Policemen Vladan Velickovic, Sasa Milanovic, Milan Krasic, Drago Djurovic and Marko Galo were badlywounded although, the surgeon reported, their lives are not endangered. SEPTEMBER 22 The police broke down heavily armed groups of Albanians in the villages situated on the slopes of Cicavica mountain, north east of Pristina. Police forces took control over village Leskovcic, Obilic municipality and seized large quantity of weapons. The police broke down Albanian extremists' strongholds in the villages Gladno Selo and Trstenik, Glogovac municipality, as well as a stronghold in Gornji Prekaz, Srbica municipality. The police continued with chase for shattered groups of KLA that withdraw from villages upward Cicavica mountain. Sasa Stojanovic from Pec was badly wounded and Milan Midzarevic was lightly wounded at about 8 PM on the Pristina - Pec road, not far from Iglarevo village. Stojanovic was transported to the Pec hospital and the doctors have taken care of his wounds. An automatic weapon fire was made against their car, Opel Vectra, license plate IG-415-59. They kept on driving their riddled car several kilometers more, where from, they were transported to Pec. SEPTEMBAR 23 The clashes between the police and the Albanian extremists atthe Cicavica Mountain spurs continued this morning also. The police forces crashed the Albanianextremists' strongholds in the Vucitrn commune villages of Zilivode and Osljane, as well as, in Poluzavillage, Glogovac commune.The extremists' smaller crashed groups keep on withdrawing up the Cicavica Mountain; the Vucitrn commune authorities informed Media Centar. Boban Matic (1973) from the Orahovac commune village ofBratotin and his thirteen-year-old cousin named Srecko Blagojevic from Recane, were reported missingsince yesterday afternoon. They disappeared somewhere on the road between Recane and Movljane villages, Suva Reka commune.Their families reported the authorities about the incident.It has been assumed, they were kidnapped by the Albanian extremists' groups concentrating in the areaagain. SEPTEMBAR 24 The police arrested 194 Albanians, suspected of being theseparatist KLA members, during its action of crashing the Albanian extremists in thearea around Cicavica Mountain, in the last two days.Tens of the arrested were armed and wore the uniforms with insignia of the separatist KLA, while numbers of them threw away their arms and uniforms and surrendered to the police.The investigation authorities initiated a procedure against the suspects detained. The police completed the ring around strong Albanian extremistgroups withdrawing toward the peaks of Cicavica Mountain. After two day fights, the Albanian extremists strongholds were crashed in 15 villages in the region. Astrong resistance against the police was especially made in Cirez, Godance, Gladno Selo, Osljane, Dobrosevac, Dubovac villages...The police captured large quantities of weapons and military equipment. SEPTEMBAR 25 "The police actions, crashing terrorist gangs of Albanianseparatists, have been successfully completed in Cicavica Mountain. Numerous terrorist bases weredestroyed and tens of Albanian terrorists were killed", Colonel Bozidar Filic, MIF of Serbia Spokesman declared. "One of their leaders, namely, Fehmi Ladrovci (1956), who pretended to be the commander of the terrorist KLA of the region, was also among the terrorists killed. He had taken part in the Croatian and Bosnian war, joining the units of "ZNG", and was well known regarding the crimes; he committed at that time. The Ladrovci group, located at the Cicavica Mountain spurs and in Drenica region,consisted of the criminals who made numerous terrorist attacks against the police and civilians, as wellas, the attack against the police van in 1993, on the railroad crossing near Glogovac, when threepolicemen were killed", colonel Bozidar Filic said ."Some 325 Albanians were arrested during the raid against the terrorist gangs in Cicavica. They have beensuspected of taking part in the attacks against the police and civilians. There were also armed members,wearing the uniforms of the terrorist KLA among the arrested. An investigation procedure has beeninitiated against the respective", said Filic."No civilian casualties were reported in these actions. The civilians, who were in the zone of the actions, are safe and they return to their villages". SEPTEMBAR 25 At about 5 PM, near by Likovac village, Glogovac municipality, five police reservists were killed in a field vehicle which bumped onto road mine that was setby Albanian extremists.Goran Zivadinovic (1969) from Soko Banja, Slavomir Bojanic (1970) from Priboj, Ognjen Petrovic (1975) from Novi Sad, Dragoslav Tadic (1962) and Aleksandar Pantovic (1973) from Vrbas were killed.Canadian KDOM vehicle bumped on the similar mine at the same spot, near by village Likovac, ten daysago.Policemen Miroslav Slovic (1974) from Zubin Potok and RajkoRadovanovic (1973) from Srbica were killed in an attack committed yesterday at about 2 PM, by heavilyarmed group of Albanians near by Donje Obrinje village.The attackers shot from automatic weapon and mortars. SEPTEMBAR 27 Three policemen were killed in an attack committed by Albanianextremists against the police, near by Donje Obrinje village, west of Glogovac, yesterday around 3.30 p.m.Veljko Miljkovic (1968), Sreten Milic (1970) and Ljubomir Ljubomirovic (1966), policemen employed inKrusevac were killed.It was shot from automatic weapon and mortars against the police, Media Centar was informed. According to the Glogovac municipality authorities' information, the police broke down Albanianextremists' strongholds in the villages of Gornje and Donje Obrinje and in wider area of Glogovac as well.During the breaking down of terrorist strongholds in the area, ten members, at least, of secessionistKLA was killed, reported by the same source. SEPTEMBAR 28 Policeman Sladjan Popovic (1971) from Pec was killed yesterdayin an attack committed by Albanian terrorists against the police at 2:30 p.m. near by Studenica place,between Strpce and Suva Reka. Policeman Slavoljub Djurisic was badly wounded during the same attack, and he was transported to the Pristina Clinical-Hospital Center. According to the doctors' statement, his life is not endangered. The police broke down Albanian terrorists' strongholds in the area of the villages Budakovo and Jezerceyesterday. The police broke down all strongholds of Albanianextremists in the area of Jezerska Mountain, east of Suva Reka. Several tens of Albanian extremists, according to the same source, were killed in the clashes.The police arrested several hundreds of Albanians in the region. SEPTEMBAR 30 One person was killed, and three others were wounded in a fieldvehicle belong to International Committee of Red Cross. The vehicle bumped onto the mine, at about 10 AM, on the road between Likovac and Donje Obrinje in Drenica region.Spetim Robaj, a doctor from Pristina was killed, and the wounded ones were Margaret Brison from NewZealand, Ilir Tolaj, a doctor from Pristina and Mirlinda Bujaku from Pristina.The wounded members of ICRC were transported with helicopter to the Pristina Clinical-Hospital Center,and according to the doctors' statement, their lives are not endangered.Their field vehicle bumped onto the contact mine in the area where five policemen had been killed fromsimilar explosion last week, and similar mine had been exploded in front of the Canadian KDOM vehicle twenty days ago.The police informed that they have at knowledge that Albanian extremists groups set mines onto the most of the roads in the area, and specialized police teams would put forth effort to deactivatemines that had been set. A fire was made from mortars, machine guns and assault riflesagainst the members of Yugoslav Army border guards in the area of Kosare border barracks, northwest of Djakovica, at 11:45 AM CET today.Yugoslav border guards came under fire from the territory Albania. The attack lasted for several hours. Yugoslav border guards fired back and repelled the attack.At present, Media Centar was not in a position to receive the information confirmation on eventualcasualties during the previous, or this attack. OCTOBER 2 Yugoslav border post Gorozup, southwest of Prizren, was attacked today at 4:20 PM. Yugoslav border guards came under automatic weapon and hand-grenade launcher fire Albania. More precisely, the fire came from the Albanian border post named Pogaj. OCTOBER 3 At about 7:30 PM, a Yugoslav army vehicle was attackednear by Goles, 20 kilometers south west of Pristina. A rifle grenade was shot against mail van belong to Yugoslav Army. The vehicle was damaged badly. Nocasualties were reported among the Yugoslav Army soldiers in the van. Policeman Dejan Barac from Kragujevac was killed yesterday at about 5 PM nearby Dragobilje village, west of Malisevo. The policeman was killed from the mine explosion. Between 9 and 10 PM, shattered groups of Albanianextremists committed three attacks on civilian vehicles near by Dulje, on the Pristina - Prizren road.Nuhi Mazrek from Mamusa, who was in one of the car, was wounded. He was transported to the PristinaHospital. He was wounded in a leg, and according to the doctors' statement he is successfully recovering.It was shot from automatic weapon on the people's representative in National Assembly and the mayor of Prizren, Mr. Ljubisa Stevanovic's car. His car was riddled with one shot, no casualty was reported. OCTOBER 9 A group of Albanian extremists, using automatic weapon, attacked thehouse of Vehbi Cerimi in Donje Godance village, Stimlje municipality last night at about 1 a.m.Cerimi fired back, and according to his words, the fight lasted for 40 minutes. No casualties were reportedamong his family members. The bullets riddled his house.Cerimi is the Stimlje Municipal Assembly member, and two members of his family are employed at the MIA of Serbia. Albanian extremists sporadically fired against police patrols not faraway from Likovac village, north east of Glogovac. No casualties among the policemen were reported.The police did not fire back. Albanian extremists shot from automatic weapon against a group ofSerbs, digging the grave at the Pantina village graveyard, this morning.The attackers withdrew only after the arrival of a police patrol. Automatic weapons bazookas and mortars were employed in the attack.In similar attack committed two nights ago, policemen Vladan Radulovic and Sasa Todorovic were badlywounded, and Zoran Damjanovic was easily wounded. They were transported to the Pristina Hospital Center, and according to the doctors' statements, their lives are not in critical condition. Bojkovic was transported to the Pristina Clinical-Hospital Center, and, according to the doctors' statement,he is out of life danger. At about 10.30 PM, three Albanians, wearing KLA uniforms, badly wounded Miroslav Stanisic, a policeman-conscript, in Mirena village, nearLipljan.They shot from automatic weapon against his car. Stanisic succeeded to reach with bullet riddled car tothe nearest police checkpoint. Then, he was transported to the Pristina Hospital. He is out of life danger. At about 11 PM, a group of armed Albanians attackedthe police station in Pristina settlement Vranjevac. The attackers shot by automatic weapons. Severalbullets hit the police building and spotlights in yard.No casualty was reported. The police did not fire back. Armed Albanians committed three synchronized attacks in Podujevo. Simultaneously, they threw several hand grenades at the building of police station in the verycenter of the town, and it was fired with automatic weapons against the police checkpoint at the entranceof Podujevo. It was also shot on the police patrol in one of Podujevo streets at the same time.No casualty was reported. The police did not fire back. Between 10 and 11 PM, groups of armed Albanian extremists attacked the Komorane police checkpoint, on the Pristina - Pec road. The shooting came from the direction of Lapusnik. The housewas severely damaged. Following the attack, attackers withdrew. There was no casualty reported. Between 6 and 7 PM, Albanian extremistscommitted a heavy attack by mortars, grenade launchers and automatic weapons against the policecheck-point near Dragobilje village, between Malisevo and Orahovac.No casualties were reported among the police. At 1:30 PM, Albanian extremists attacked the police near Dulje village, on the Pristina - Prizren road.Automatic weapons were employed in the attack from the direction of Blace village. OCTOBER 18 The police conscripts Zivorad Kostic (1961), Dejan Jakovljevic (1961)and Goran Markovic (1971) were killed in an attack made by Albanian terrorists at 9:30 PM, near Orlate village, on the Pristina - Malisevo road.The police conscripts Milivoje Markovic and Goran Sofronijevic were badly wounded in the attack. Theywere later transported to the Pristina Clinical Hospital Center. Their lives are not endangered.The investigation on the crime is underway. Albanians extremists attacked the police car using automaticweapons last night at 6 PM, in Magura village, Lipljan municipality, 15 kilometer southwest of Pristina. Policeman Milivoje Pejic was badly wounded, while, police conscript Ljubisa Peric was lightlywounded.The policemen wounded were transported to the Pristina Clinical Hospital Center. The first attack was committed at 6 AM,while other two within an interval from 1 to 3 PM.No casualties were reported among the police. One of the attackers was killed. OCTOBER 19 "Tanjug" journalists Nebojsa Radosevic and Vladimir Dobricicdisappeared yesterday afternoon in the region of Magura village, 20 kilometers south east of Pristina.Tanjug journalists were on their duty, and since then, no trace of them was found. They were in "Yugo Florida" car, registration plate number BG - 987 - 090. All international humanitarian organizations wereinformed about their disappearance.Two months ago in Orahovac region Radio Pristina journalist Djuro Slavuj and driver Ranko Perenic, andsince then, there is no information about them. OCTOBER 28: Some 15 minutes after midnight, Zef Dreni (1932) was killed in the yard of his house in Firza village, Djakovica municipality. Dreni was killed from the assault rifle. His family said the investigation authorities; four people wearing camouflage uniforms with the insignia of the separatist KLA killed Dreni. The attackers had also beaten up Zef's son Muja, who had run out from home to help his father. He suffered bad injuries. A fire was made from the automatic weapons against the police patrol car on the road Pristina - Leskovac near Grastica village at about 4 PM. No casualties were reported among the police. The fire was made twice from a "Mercedes Benz" car against the police patrol car that was hit by four bullets, the same source claimed. A police ambulance was attacked yesterday at about 3 PM in Lipovica, some 20 kilometer southwest of Pristina. The attackers fired from AK-47s and several bullets hit the police ambulance. No casualties were reported among the police occupying the car. OCTOBER 29: Nazmi Oluri (1973) was killed at about 3:30 PM not far from Stimlje. Some, at present, unknown persons shot Oluri in the head. The Stimlje Municipal Authorities suspect, Albanian extremists committed the murder, because Nazmi Oluri was considered as an Albanian loyal to Serbia. NOVEMBER 1: At 1:30 PM, a group of four armed Albanians wearing KLA secessionist uniforms attacked police patrol in Glodjane village, near Pec. Policeman Drasko Stosic was easily wounded during the attack. Policemen fired back. NOVEMBER 2: Fehmi Sopa was badly wounded at about 8:30 PM , in front of his house in Malo Gracko village, near Lipljan commune. He was transported to the Pristina hospital. The surgeons have been trying to save his life. According to Sopa family member statement, four uniformed persons with the insignia of the separatist KLA fired from the assault rifles at their house. The Lipljan commune authorities said, the reason for the attack was because Sopa family never hidden their loyalty to Serbia. Three workers of the coal mine were wounded at about 6 PM , not far from the Belacevac coal mine. Desimir Prodanovic, engineer and Dragisa Stepanovic, driver have been badly wounded, while, Slavoljub Tanaskovic has been lightly wounded. They were all transported to the Pristina Clinical-Hospital Center and according to the surgeon's claims, their lives are not endangered. Albanian terrorists fired from the assault rifles against two vehicles transporting the workers to the Belacevac coal mine. NOVEMBER 4: A heavy group of Albanian terrorists attacked the police at about 11 AM , between the villages of Petrovo and Rack, Stimlje municipality. The attack lasted up to 1:20 PM. A grenade fired from the anti-tank launcher hit a police vehicle. No casualties were reported among the police. At 7:30 PM , Albanian extremists, from direction of Bivoljak village, repeatedly fired from automatic weapons at Priluzje village, some 20 kilometers northwest of Pristina. The attacks lasted up to 11 PM. There are visible traces of shooting on several houses. A police patrol car was attacked at about 10 AM , not far from Klina, several kilometers far on the road heading toward Josanica village. Eight shots hit the car. The police fired back and killed one of the attackers, wearing a camouflage uniform with the insignia of the separatist KLA, armed with an assault rifle and a gun. NOVEMBER 6: Spokesman of Republic of Serbia Ministry of Interior Affairs, Colonel Bozidar Filic denied the information published by several media about the abduction of an policeman two nigths ago on the Vucitrn road. "After the investigation it was estimated that the news was desinformation". A group of armed Albanian extremists attacked the regular police patrol on the Suva Reka - Orahovac road, near by Opterusa village, at 9:30 PM The police fired back, and five attackers, wearing secessionists KLA camouflage uniforms, and armed with assault rifles and mortars, were killed. No policeman was reported injured. Two police vehicles were riddled with several bullets. The police found, in two attackers' cars (one with Prizren and other one with Switzerland registration plates) two China made mortars, an assault rifle, seven hand grenades and large quantity of ammunition. According to the same source, Albanian extremists shot on the investigation members' team, during the investigation. NOVEMBER 7: Policemen Ilija Vujosevic (1950) and Dejan Djatlov (1975) disappeared yesterday around 12:30 PM on the road between Malisevo and Orlate,where they were assigned to, Media centar was reported by the Pristina Police Headquarters. Ilija Vujosevic, a policeman at the Pristina PD, and Dejan Djatlov a member of conscript police, were driving groceries in a truck for policemen on the field. The police undertake all measures in order to find two missing policemen. The policemen were disappeared in the region,where members of secessionist KLA made frequent provocation during the past days, and it is supposed that the policemen were abducted by Albanian extremists. NOVEMBER 9: Bodies of the policemen Ilija Vujosevic (1950) and Dejan Djatlov (1975), that were kidnapped on Friday on the road between Malisevo and Orlate, were found this morning not far from Malisevo. According to the first results of the investigation, the two kidnapped policemen were killed by firearms from a close distance. The investigation of the crime is underway. Ilija Vujosevic, policeman from Pristina and Dejan Djatlov, police conscript, were transporting the supplies for the police by truck. The police patrol found their bodies this morning. A heavy-armed attack was made against the Malisevo Police Station last night at 07:20 PM , Media Centar was informed. No casualties were reported among the police. Heavy-armed groups of Albanian extremists attacked the police station using mortars, bazookas and automatic weapons. Four mortar projectiles have hit and damaged the police building. A police off-road vehicle was also damaged. The police fired back and the attackers withdrew. NOVEMBER 10: Zlatan Ivanovic, born 1974 and Bojan Pavlovic, born 1976, from Josanica village, near Leposavic disappeared yesterday morning in the Srbica vicinity, the Drenica region. Their disappearance was reported to the police. They transported firewood yesterday with intention to sell it at the Srbica market place. No one have seen them since 10 PM The police search for the two disappeared men. The Srbica municipal authorities suspect they had been abducted by members of an Albanian extremist group, which have appeared the several past days increasingly in the region. Policeman Sreten Cvetanovic was slightly wounded around 11 AM during the attack of heavily armed Albanian extremists group on a regular police patrol near by Negrovac village, Drenica vicinity. During the clash, the police killed one of the attackers, Abedin Bujupi, born 1961 from Orlate. Weapon and four KLA uniforms were found at the killed one.Three policemen were badly wounded in an attack made by Albanian extremists at 7 PM. The policemen wounded are as follows: Veljko Mertic from Negotin, and conscripts Slavko Amidzic and Sasa Stefanovic from Kosovo Polje. The policemen wounded were transported to the Pristina Clinical - Hospital Center, and have undergone surgical treatment. According to the surgeon statement, their lives are not endangered. The Albanian extremists attacked the police station and its other facilities in Glogovac using mortars, bazookas and automatic weapons. The police facilities underwent significant damages. The police fired back and after an hour of fighting, they repulsed the attack. NOVEMBER 12: All Albanians that were held in Josanica village, near Leposavic, were released tonight, Media Centar was reported. Josanica village inhabitants are revolted due to abduction of their relatives by Albanian extremists Zlatan Ivanovic and Bojan Pavlovic three days ago in Srbica, kept certain number of Albanians that were driving cars on the road alongside the village. The Leposavic PD and local authorities react last night, so the kept Albanians were released. NOVEMBER 13: Zlatan Jovanovic and Bojan Pavlovic coming from Josanica, near by Leposavic, abducted four days ago in Srbica by the albanian extremists, were released late last night and returned to their houses. Murat Hadjosa, a member of the Prekoluka local security, Decane vicinity, was killed. Hadjosa was killed from automatic weapon during attack of Albanian extremists on his house. His son was wounded during the attack. NOVEMBER 16: Albanian extremists attacked the police patrol at 11:30 AM in Donja Lapastica village, Podujevo municipality. No casualties were reported among the policemen, while several police vehicles were riddled with assault rifle bullets. The police fired back. Several sniper rifle bullets were fired at the Orahovac police station morning; the Orahovac municipal authorities confirmed Media Centar. No casualties were reported among the police. A bullet hit a police vehicle, parked in the police yard. Albanian extremists attacked the police patrol with automatic weapons and bazookas morning on the road Dulje - Malisevo, near Belanica village. NOVEMBER 17: At 04:30 PM , Olivera Simic from Klina was badly wounded in an attack made by Albanian extremists, on the road Pec, near Iglarevo village. She suffered a piercing wound in her leg above her knee and was transported to Pec hospital, where she was kept for further hospital treatment; the Pec municipal authorities informed Media Centar. The attackers opened fire from assault rifles against the car that, in addition to the wounded, were also occupied by the driver and three kids. None of them was hurt. NOVEMBER 19: Policeman, named Slobodan Miketic was badly wounded, while two other policemen were lightly wounded in an attack of Albanian extremists at the police patrol, made last night at 9:30 PM , on the road Decane - Djakovica, near Erec village. Miketic received first aid at the Pec hospital, and then, was transported to the Pristina Clinical - Hospital center. Automatic weapons and bazookas were used in the attack against the police patrol. Nuredin Zejnulahu (1949), physician, was badly wounded in front of his house last night at about 9 PM in Pec. He was transported to the Pristina Hospital, but, later, he succumbed his wounds. According to his family statement, three masked persons, wearing uniforms, attacked Zejnulahu. They also wounded lightly his daughter Aida Zejnulahu. After receiving first aid in Pec Hospital, the daughter was released home for further home treatment. The Pec municipal authorities claimed Albanian extremists had killed Zejnulahu, because he was loyal to Serbia. Policeman, named Goran Zbiljic (31), Podujevo police department member, was reported missing. He left the police station at about 8 PM and drove off in his car "Zastava 101" type, license plates No. PR 139-435 and from then on, his faith have been unknown. The police have been searching for the missing policeman, because they suspect, Albanian extremists had kidnaped him. Hakif Hoti (1942) was kidnapped last night in front of his house in Bradas village, near Podujevo. According to his wife statement, who reported the case to the police, several armed Albanians, wearing camouflage uniforms with the insignia of KLA, had taken Hoti and went toward Bajcina village. NOVEMBER 20: Two policemen were killed, three were badly wounded, and one was lightly wounded in an attack committed by Albanian extremists, this morning, at 6:45 AM , in Prilep village, Decane municipality. Zoran Vrbaski (1973) and Janos Cizmadija (1953) are the policemen that were killed, both police members from Kikinda. Aleksandar Stojanovic, Igor Bus and Goran Borovica are the policemen badly wounded, Caba Pakai, the police conscript got light wounds. Wounded policemen were transported to the Pristina Clinical - Hospital Center. The Albanian extremists attacked the police vehicle, the policemen used to return from their shift. A projectile had hit the vehicle from the anti-tank launcher, and then, a fire was made from the assault rifles. The police have been searching after the criminals. NOVEMBER 24: Policeman named Goran Zbiljic, the Podujevo police department member that was kidnapped by Albanian extremists a week ago, was liberated. U.S. Kosovo Diplomatic Observation Mission (KDOM) team also mediated the liberation of the policeman kidnapped. NOVEMBER 25: An Albanian extremist group attacked a regular police patrol with automatic weapons and bazookas at about 12 PM on the road Djakovica - Dolac, near Rakovina village, the Djakovica municipal authorities reported Media Centar. The policemen fired back and killed one of the attackers named Isuf Oluri (1959). He was wearing a uniform with the insignia of the separatist KLA and was armed with a bazooka. The police found an assault rifle, uniforms and larger quantities of food in the basement of the house nearby, close to the spot the barricade was set up on an excess road. NOVEMBER 27: Tanjug Agency journalists Nebojsa Radosevic and Vladimir Dobricic kidnapped October 16, near Magura village have been released at 2:30 PM in Dragobilje village, between Malisevo and Orahovac. They were released under the mediation of OSCE verifiers. Around 7 AM, on the slopes of Pastrik Mountain, a large group of Albanians intrude into the territory of Yugoslavia from Albania. Since Yugoslav border guard detected them, the armed Albanians ran away toward border village Ljubizde, Prizren vicinity. During the field search, border guards found some 20 automatic rifles and a large quantity of ammunition as well as medical material. Representatives of Yugoslav Army Pristina Corps Headquarters along with members of OSCE Verification Mission located dugouts, hideouts and bases for new attempts of Albanian extremists penetration from Albania to Yugoslavia on the spot. Around 1 PM, near by the Gorozup Border Post, west of Prizren, some 10 Albanian terrorists tried to intrude from Albania into Yugoslavia. They opened fire against Yugoslav border soldiers, who fired back. No casualty was reported, and the attackers withdrew deep into the Albanian territory. Border village inhabitants called again Yugoslav Army in order to give them full protection from the intrusions of Albanian extremists. NOVEMBER 28: Around 11:30 PM, a group of armed terrorists tried to intrude from Albania into Yugoslavia in the area of the Liken Border Post. At Yugoslav border guard warning, they opened fire, and one of the attackers was wounded and transported to the Djakovica Military Hospital. He had with him passports of the Muslim-Croat Federation and Yugoslav as well, it was confirmed to the Media Centar at the Yugoslav Army Pristina Corps Headquarters. OSCE Verification Mission was informed about the incident and they were asked to interrogate the incident.
