Published: SATURDAY, DECEMBER 9, 1995 The Pillowcase Rapist, linked to 200 sex crimes in Southern California in the 1970s, has been released from prison even though he is still considered dangerous. The former prisoner, Reginald Muldrew, 47, flew to Las Vegas, where he told the police he planned to stay for only one night. Mr. Muldrew put pillowcases over his victims' heads to conceal his identity. "He suffers from a mental disorder which makes him a danger to others," a Department of Corrections spokeswoman said. "But he has served his maximum time."
