Howdy, I'm Zinfandel of Clan Plaid. You're getting this message because a map that you made is being hosted on our hotline server.  I realize that these maps are your intellectual property, so if for any reason you do not wish your map to be available here, please let me know.
	Each map is zipped (with the original readme, if available) or the author created zip is used.  Comments are attached to each file (using the get info command) including author's name, e'mail address, home page, and group affiliation.  If you would like to ensure that your comment information is correct, please stop by at your convenience. 
	If you are not familiar with hotline, a web page is available with details on the program and what it is useful for, and how to access the clan plaid server.  A special login and password is available for you mapmakers, with some extended privileges. The server info is:

	 This site is designed as a resource for the myth community, and an aid for mapmakers in the distribution of maps, not as a private server like VRHL, (Voracious Rabbits Hotline).  To keep our collection of maps current, we would like to ask that you upload your new maps when you release them.  You can contact any of the server admins for assistance in doing so.  You also have the ability to post in the news on the site.
	
	Finally, I know that some of you are already very familiar with the server.  I see people like Fisj and plague and Mormith on all the time.  You guys know that we have a good server.  What you may not know is that we have a special section that is accessible only to CP.  We have made this section into a resource for people who don't want a map released to the general public, but would like to see it playtested for bugs, passability errors, and possible minor improvements.  Clan Plaid is comprised of 62 active myth players who are all very much into the 3rd party map movement.  If you would like to enlist the services of CP in beta testing your map, you are guaranteed that it will be played, and that you will get valuable feedback (complete with screenshots and films).  If you would like your map to be playtested by CP, upload it to the dropbox of Scruggler, Scuzz Zerk, Son of Spam, Soylent Green, Sven, or myself.  We will post it to the Plaid Only section and will let all the plaid know it is there.
