Does this seem reasonable?
from print to hydrated syringe - 1 day
syringe to complete honey tek - 7 days
innoculation to full colonization - 13 days
casing incubation - 4 days
pinning to picking - 10 days =

perhaps a bit optimistic,
but not unreasonable.

That is an actual time line Quo. I was thinking it was fast but I thought it might be crazy fast and I didn't want to have to catch flak for posting a crazy number!
I think he had 100% colonization in a few jars in 11 days!
Estimated the pinning to picking but saw colonized casings with knots forming in 26 to 27 days. The myc just exploded through the casing layer.
PF Haw. shot 3 cc.'s at a time in five point patterns into FULL pint jars of 4 parts verm, 2 parts cooked whole BR, 1 part sifted worm castings, and a pinch of calcium carb. Incubated @ 87 deg. whole time light 24/7, and flipped at 40-50%.
Cased in 50/50 verm/Miracle grow potting soil, pinch of sifted castings, splash of calc. carb.
piece and peace and thanks

Do a Michael Jackson moon walk with that and it's complete! I just love this hobby too. I've alway loved insects and plants..nature and this I can do indoors, be in touch with the mother and not have to go to strangers for my entheogen.

I can believe 13 days for complete outter colonization. I imagine the entire outside was covered but not the center was colonized. For better growth I would hold off until day 18 or so to birth them to insure that the center is colonized. Also I know I am not imagining it when I give an extra CC of solution to each jar it colonizes considerabley faster.

Yep ggg, My buddy has gone from point "A" to eating shrooms in 32 days. If ya get a handle on things, you can afford to be optomistic.
You need to cut it down by four days to beat my buddy though

good call snoop
3 of Jimmy's 12 jars were not ready and required surgery before they were cased.
My buddy told me he had heard he could just cut out the uncolonized portions and case the rest!
I had read that around here so I told him to go for it!
Jimmy thinks he can cut his time down by using more liquid culture in 1/2 pints, not full pints, earlier flipping and temps around 90 deg.
I think he can keep trying to cut time but it's hard to sprint your way through a marathon.

Some of my 1/4 pints pinned in 24 days . I didnt relize my timline was that good. Inoculate Dec 24th . All jars showed growth on the 27th . On the 30th 1/2 pints where around 30% colonized . The 1/4 Pints where around 50% colonized a few where a litle more. On the fourth 19 jars where 100% colonized 7 where 1/2 pints 12 where my 1/4 pints . I put them still in there jars into the fruiting chamber . The lite is an 15 watt Vitta Brand Light (full spectrum) Floro . Left them in the chamber under 12 on 12 off light . Temps only upper 60,s at first then i got it regulated to 75 . On the 17th of jan I spoted my first pin and upon realy checking well found that it was time to birth 7 of the 1/4 pints. By the 20th i had mushrooms drying in descant.
I used a liquid clone tek in dextrose . For inoculation , and used around double the amount if inoculant per jar while jar was on its side. Incubated in A colmen cooler with a fishtank heater in a jar , worked awsome i must say. Incubated at 86 exact . Used all mercury thermometers for regulating temps. The jars where all made per Pf Max Fruit Formula. The 1/4 pints where simpley split in half as far as measures went. Each jar was mixed individualy.
