Has anyone ever heard of eating a PF cake after it has flushed a couple times, or has anyone done it? As long as it still looks fairly clean and surely uncontaminated. I heard they have a lot of psilocybin in them. Hell it just old rice and vermiculite, think it could hurt you?

i think that the vermiculite could be detrimental to your health.... dunno for sure though... but i wouldn't risk it myself... you could probably make a tea out of it though

they say verm in rare cases has asbestos in it...which may or may not be harmful to ingest. I have heard that tea made from cakes is nasty, but I have never tried it. You can do it, though. crumble or cut into small pieces, then steep in hot water for a while, then choke down

Eating Cakes Cake Tea

asbestos is harmfull to breath because its micro fibers are in a hook shape which get caught on the tissue in the lungs. So asbestos is only harmfull if it becomes airborne not ingested. Vermaculite is used in soil aireation and in industry to soak up hazardous spills. MSDSs indicate that it is inert material and not harmful to you. But who knows what they will find in 50 years. They are always coming out with new findings.

Make some tea out of it and see how it goes.

cakes can be eaten and produce desired effects but taste filthy, what is needed is a way to separate the vermiculite from the mycelin. One way ive heard is to use blender(with non sharp mixer) for cake and add cranberry juice, mix and let soak, then strain out solids with a teatowel, squeeeeze. cranberry juice is reputed to hold psylobin, dont know if this is true. Allow 1-2 cakes per dose. If you use a blender with a sharp cutting mixer it will become sludge, which can be drunk but tastes awful. Worst come to worse you can eat cakes with a knife and fork, with honey or peanut butter. But mushies will always be infinitly preferable to these methods of desperation. Good luck.

I had a couple of friends absolutely desperate to get high. All I had were some cakes waiting for a second flush. I sent them on their way with some complimentary cakes. They each ate and washed down with beer two 1/2 pint cakes, yes two , which they said taste like....real bad. They said after all the work of gaging them down they didn't feel a damn thing. After 8 years they're still alive.

YUCK~!
I asked the same question before,,,,
I can just imagine sitting at the table, with a napkin on my lap, a knife in one hand, a fork in the other, with a cake in front of me...
I feel ill............

AHHAHHHAHH that is so crazy if you think about it in a tripped-out, twisted way! I don't think I'm going to make a candle-light dinner for two with PF cakes. Thats sick, but I might be bold enough to make a tea using chunked (not pulverized) cakes using a strongly mixed, warmed juice insted of water. I know it will taste bad, but for how blue some of my cakes are after flushing once I know the mycelia is full of psilocybin. So...

you'll get higher sniffing glue.
and have more fun doing it.
eating cakes is for drug-addicted losers.
there just is not much magic in mycellia,
not worth bothering with.

Im got a little over 2 grams of shrooms, not enough fro a good trip for me. I'm gonna crumble an old cake into a glass of cranberry juice with some lemon added to help extraction and drink this too to try to boost my trip. Whaddya guys think? I'll report back the results. In the mean time do you think it'll work? |

Ok here is the problem I have with this. First, it tastes like ass. Second, the magic concentrates in the hyphal knots, pins, and fruit... On the outside of the cake. Third... Cakes contain vermiculite, a processed mineral that is mined from the ground. It is puffed mica. Mica deposits are never pure, there are hundreds of minerals found in association with mica... One of those minerals is abestos. Now the epa has tested all vermiculite being produced and they are stating that in it's intended application the level of asbestos in verm is safe. Many states go further and have banned verm as a carcinogen because it can be mishandled (ingested for instance) or miss applied (some body thinks it makes a great air filter for instance). In addition to asbestos, there are many asbestos like, and mica like minerals. If you look at the crystal structure of these minerals under a microscope you will see they look like tiny needles and broken glass... they are microscopic. Ingesting minerals like these in any form is a very bad idea. You do not want them in your lungs or passing through your gut. They cause cell damage. They are persistent. They worm and cut their way into cells and become permanently imbedded. Now I suppose you could get a filter, filter the tea, and get rid of any suspended mineral crystals... My advice is, and always has been, please do not consume cakes in any form. I really have very good reasons for giving this advice. I do not know how harmful it is or can be, only that there is potential for long term harm as a result of this practice and so I advise against it. It's my job here. |
