I've read that MAOI inhibitors can make your trip much stronger, and last longer.
What is an MAOI inhibitor?? And where can I get them?
Thanks in advance!!

Whoa, 50 bucks a pound?? To much money and trouble for me.
For some reason, I thought it was the kind of thing you could pick up in a health food store or over the counter type of thing. Also, isn't prozac, or anti depressants MOAI's??

Most anti-depressants including prozac, aren't MAOI's... MAOI's aren't used much in the treatment of depression anymore because of their dangers which force a restrictive diet. You can buy syrian rue seeds for cheap, you don't have to buy a whole pound. You can get quite a few effective doses of rue from a 50 gram bag or less, costing about $12 including shipping. The problems with MAOI's:

A. Shouldn't combine them with any other meds, think about how many medications say to not take with an MAOI, so if you're on any prescription meds you have to come off them for a while before and after MAOI use.

B. Tyramine restrictive diet. To not adhere to this diet can cause the worst headache you've ever had, or possible death. Check out Foods to Avoid when using MAOI's, this includes before and after their use.

Most people, however, have no trouble using a MAOI in conjuction with shrooms. The dose you take doesn't have to be that large, and you're only taking it once. People also boast of not adhearing to the diet and having no problems, simply because they didn't really dose that much of an MAOI, but it's still not a good idea. Summary: The typical mushroom enchancing, one-time dose isn't that dangerous, as long as you're not on any other medications. Combining a MAOI with an SSRI or other antidepressant/antianxiety (including drugs like X) could be very bad.

It has been my expirence that it dose increase intensity and duration, however, the overall trip is slightly different from a regular mushroom trip (hard to describe). Skim your usual dose down accordingly.
