what is the most potent type of mushroom??

By Lichen (Lichen) on Friday, October 19, 2001 - 01:10 am:

good question. And you asked it in the right place...there are a number of people here who know the precise answer to that question.

My guess is Panoleus Cyanescens, but I have grown some cubensis that would give them a run for their money.

Pan Cyans would be my vote, it is a shroom for advanced growers. As far as the cubie races, PF grown on cakes appears to hold one of the top position. There are lots of complaints about the fruiting, but nobody here has complained that they weren't good shrooms.

But I should not comment. I am the wrong person to talk to about shroom potencies.

that's for sure...damn heavyweights

lol indeed

Hawaiians are good. Follow the TEK and the Hawaiian will produce heavy on the first flush. What it lacks in potency (good)... More than made up in the beautiful and heavy fruits. Outstanding shroom, I have friends who have lost it on 2.5 grams grown on _straw_.

PF Classic grown on rice cakes is gram per dried gram one of the most potent cubies available. But don't ask me... Ask the damned lightweights... :)

Nan, are you suggesting that PFs (or others) grown on something other than the cake (straw...) are less potent than those grown on cakes?

By Lichen (Lichen) on Friday, October 19, 2001 - 02:25 pm:

Cubies thrive on rice...fanaticus maintains rice-grown cubensis is 'an entheogen of the highest order'.
However, my friends say they can't tell the difference between rice- and grass- and dung-grown shrooms. But then we are lightweights :0)

Yes, the Hawaiians are great! I have them dried off of cakes, straw, and worm poop. The shroom I ate last night was off of a straw bed (could tell by the cocofiber on the stump...)- about 5" long. Definately under a gram....I have a cold, so I was just looking for a little entertainment. GREAT!! When I closed my eyes, I could see cool colored patterns, like looking thru layers of colored frosted glass. COOL SHIT!
1.5- 2 grams would end my skinny ass up on Uranus!! OOOOOOps! That didnt sound right!!

Lightweights?!?!?! SHHHHHHHIIIIIITTTT!
I might be 150 pounds with wet dreads!!!
Between a gram and 2 is enough for me. PF classic and Hawaiians are great!
I will have reports on Pan trops. and Pan cyans soon...still in jars...and the trops is outdoing the cyans (growth) so far...
LOL Nanook!! Didnt know the San Pedro was fattening!!!
