Aunc.1950 net.math utcsrgv!utzoo!decvax!duke!unc!bts Sat Mar 6 19:29:00 1982 log 0 - log 0 = 0 No. While there is a rule that X - X = 0, it only becomes a true sentence-- formula with no free variables-- when you substitute in the names of things that exist. There is no logarithm of 0, so the formula's no good. This leaves unanswered the question of whether or not net.math exists. ----------------------------------------------------------------- gopher://quux.org/ conversion by John Goerzen of http://communication.ucsd.edu/A-News/ This Usenet Oldnews Archive article may be copied and distributed freely, provided: 1.
