Several other people asked to get the results of what I got, so here we go: Several people mention a program called 'vc' available from Software Innovations Inc, (603) 883-9300 [decvax!ittvax!sii!wje or harpo!siii!wje] The program seems to be quite reasonable priced, but lacked some features that some people wanted. One person mentioned an electronic spread sheet from Unisoft (212) 580-3541 Lifeboats is appearantly getting their TMAKER II program out of the micro world --making it available on UN*X. Talk to David Rosensaft (212) 860-0300 Access Technology has a program called Supercomp, you can call them at (617) 655-9191 for more info. The folks a Microsoft have a product called Multi-plan, availablity was unclear-- some folks said later this year, some said it was available now. Try calling the Santa Cruz Operation at (408) 425-7222 for more details. BTL folks may want to talk with H H Adams (Head Corporate Economics at MH) for a soon (?) to be released memo on the "Analyst's Workbench" Thanks again, Larry Marek ----------------------------------------------------------------- gopher://quux.org/ conversion by John Goerzen of http://communication.ucsd.edu/A-News/ This Usenet Oldnews Archive article may be copied and distributed freely, provided: 1.
