When you come across a potion of restore strength, for example, you read it and get a message something like you feel warm all over (I don't remember the exact wording off hand.) At the same time your strength is restored to its previous highest value. If this is the first time that you have come across such a potion, rogue types Call it: to which you are expected to type restore strength. However, if instead of typing anything you hang up the phone, a "rogue.save" file is created. You can then log on again and say "rogue rogue.save" and if you look through the pack you will find that the potion is still there and you can quaff it again. When you do so, rogue will again prompt Call it: and the procedure can be repeated *ad lib*. This also happens for other things which say "Call it:". I'm afraid I don't know the version that we run here. Any comments from the authors of the game?
