By the way, the "new" generation nonstick pans (silverstone, armorcote...) are a great improvement over teflon. The suckers are REALLY nonstick and hold up well with reasonable care (don't chew on them with metal utensils). You can burn food in them, but it's really hard to make stuff stick. (I know that this cookware is pretty common now, but if, for some reason, some net.cooks reader has been ignoring its existence, I figured it was worth mentioning.)
