I too would very much like to see more of those spectacular color TV pictures taken by the arm cameras. For a government institution, NASA is remarkably responsive to public opinion and interest and they are often quite liberal in releasing information. I suspect that they would give anyone (broadcaster, catv company, private individual) permission to receive and distribute the NASCOM satellite channel. (After all, we've already paid for it!) I wonder if someone could persuade their local cable TV company to carry it during the next STS mission? Cable companies often have spare satellite receivers, and if they already have a dish pointed at the appropriate satellite and a spare cable channel, this could be very practical. For the duration of a flight, I would certainly be willing to pay rates comparable to HBO or Showtime service to watch it. If you're interested in listening in, there is always the dial-it number: 900-410-6272, although this gets a bit expensive if you listen for any length of time. But its worth it to a true space addict.
