Query] >From steve.bmd70@BRL Tue Sep 15 13:37:48 1981 I don't know of any *specifically* UNIX codes for what Northlich wants; there is always of course GASP IV and its successor whose name I forget (Mort knows). But, being in good 'ol 'portable` FORTRAN and producing '60s-style line printer plots, I doubt it has the pedigree to suit a card- carrying wizard.... It does work, though. Does event-based simulations and has a Runge-Kutta appendage to do diff. eqs. Cost us a bundle for the CYBER but is probaly cheaper to universities. Father is A.A.B. Pritsker, Purdue. As for 'real` simulation languages (SIMSCRIPT, etc.), I dunno. We've had a few local queries, so if Billn hears anything I'd like to know. -steve ----------------------------------------------------------------- gopher://quux.org/ conversion by John Goerzen of http://communication.ucsd.edu/A-News/ This Usenet Oldnews Archive article may be copied and distributed freely, provided: 1.
