We offer holographic materials in widths of 6" to 31" with repeats of 6" to 24". To date, we have produced billions of images for a variety of applications. A combination of technologically advanced equipment and industry expertise has made us the leading manufacturer of embossed holography. As the largest manufacturer of dimensional hot stamping foil and film in the world, we are in a unique position to provide you with quality imagery at a substantial cost savings. We can guide you through origination and production and recommend the best companies for affixing the image to your product. Our most recent breakthrough in dimensional imagery, HoloClear (TM), is the most dynamic form of decorative imagery available today. It is translucent, so that it can be used for stamping over graphics, photos, etc. and because the technology needed to produce HoloClear (TM) is extremely secretive, it is virtually the most unique visual available in dimensional imagery. Our Design Center is available to assist you with any form of custom hot stamping applications. If you are looking to explore the design possibilities please call (800) 235-FOIL and ask for the Design Center at extension 422. We have an expert staff that is available to answer any questions you may have. It will be our pleasure to help make your next promotion a successful one. Table of Contents ------------------------------------------------------------------------ TransFraction Patterns Transfer Print Foils, Inc. offers over 150 unique "wallpaper" TransFraction (TM) prismatic patterns that can be used for hot stamping or label applications. If you do not already have one, please call your Design Center at (800) 235-FOIL for a sample of our library of patterns. HoloClear is our most recent breakthrough in dimensional imagery. The card shown has been stamped with a standard TransFraction (TM) pattern. HoloClear(TM) does not detract from the design of a document, yet it is still easily recognizable and impossible to duplicate. Table of Contents ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Silvering and Combining When the holographer sends us the glass master, we coat it with a silver spray to create our first shim, the metal master. This is a mirror image of the original master. Then we take the metal master and place it in a bath for electroplating nickel. The first generation of shims grown in this way are known as Grandmothers. The grandmother shim is still formatted as one single hologram per shim. Using state of the art equipment we combine the holograms from the grandmothers so that we can have multiple holograms on each shim. Production of holograms is proportionally less expensive to the number of images per shim. This process is known as Combining. During the combining stage, we also add registration marks that will be read by holographic stamping and die-cutting equipment. the combined plate is electroplated to grow the Mother shim. This mother shim is also a mirror image of the hologram (also referred to as a negative). That shim is put through the electroplating process and the stamping shim is finally produced. Table of Contents ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Holographic Microembossing The stamping shims that we have grown are now used to replicate holograms for large volume applications. These shims are placed in custom holographic embossing equipment designed by Transfer Print Foils. We then use them to emboss the images into rolls of film (usually polyester) with coatings for receiving micro-embossing. This embossing is normally 1/1,000,000 in. deep. The film is converted into hot stamping foil or pressure sensitive (sticky-back) material. This material will either be die-cut for use as stickers or stamped onto packaging, trading cards, security documents or whatever the end use calls for. TPF offers foil and film in a wide variety of colors but silver tends to be the most popular because it does not mask the rainbow effect of embossed holography. We also offer transparent holography and tinted translucent colors that provide the best holographic security available. Table of Contents Transfer Print Foils, Inc. 9 Cotters Lane P.O.
