Neurolinguistic Programming

Neurolinguistic Programming is a form of psychological therapy. It involves finding your Personal Power, getting to the root of your issues such as-- why do I fear success? Lots of positive affirmations and letting go of fears and blockages.

Uses For NLP

1. Spiritual Growth:
Finding your spiritual path

2. Communication:
NLP teaches us how to get good rapport with another person; how to calibrate, meaning how and what to observe in our interlocutor's behaviors in order to be able to detect his inner states; how to prepare and how to lead conversations; how to formulate and to reach one's goals.

3. Change:
NLP provides a multitude of interventions that transform personal limitations into resources. Most of the other approaches in the field of change are contentorientated and relate to the origins of the problem in the past.

NLP doesn't deny the usefulness of this way of proceeding - for more efficiency it operates on the level of neurolinguistic structures of limitations. The first goal of an NLPpsychotherapist is to understand how his client is proceeding within himself in order to produce his limitation (What happens within you when the limitation comes up?) instead of going for answers that give explanations. NLP - procedures aim for change of the neurocerebral structures, of the way the client proceeds in his mind when he creates his limitation. This also means that an NLP - therapist can assist his client in bringing about lasting changes without ever knowing what had gone wrong. The client may be surprised to observe changes after a therapy session which to him had seemed to be no more than an ordinary conversation.

4. Mental Management
NLP shows us the cerebral dynamics that enable us to gain control over our mind and over our emotions. This is done in a way that means:
 being able to learn rapidly;
 being able to control one's inner states;
 being able to access the degree of motivation that is most appropriate to the circumstances;
 to enhance one's mental and emotional flexibility so that we are able to face all kind of situations in a satisfactory way;
 being able to learn from circumstances ("there is no failure, there is only feedback");
 being able to access a neutral inner state any moment; being able to handle fears.

5. Personal Development
NLP is unique in the field of models of human functioning and we may say that everything it offers is personal development. It shows us how to trigger dormant resources. We discover how to attain personal and professional goals, how to open up to the within in order to retrieve spontaneously the verbal expressions that are the most adapted to a given context, how to be at ease on the functional level, how to face all kinds of difficulties, how to know ourselves better, how to proceed in order to put oneself into question, how to uncover one's essential value and, last not least: how to no longer be occupied by all this.
