I am referring to the "Earthsea Trilogy" by Ursula Le Guin. It has been a couple of years now since I read them but they still stand out in my memory as one of the best series I have read. Certainly as memorable as "The Lord of the Rings" series and probably better than the "Thomas Covenant" series although I'll admit that I have not finished that series yet. I am currently reading "The Illearth War", the second book of the first trilogy. Did anyone else find the "Earthsea Trilogy" as fascinating as I did? Kit Kimes Western Electric Co.
