We do have a Spinwriter which has most of the advantages of the two-headed Qume, except that they badly screwed up when they designed the scientific thimble. Any dot matrix printer you get will be grainier than the versatec; they're getting close (I believe 140/in as opposed to the Versatec's 200), but they're not there yet; also I think the versatec is at about the grainiest I would consider using for such things. ----------------------------------------------------------------- gopher://quux.org/ conversion by John Goerzen of http://communication.ucsd.edu/A-News/ This Usenet Oldnews Archive article may be copied and distributed freely, provided: 1.
