Apopuli.112 net.general utcsrgv!utzoo!decvax!ucbvax!G:asa Thu Feb 11 16:24:32 1982 Terminal Rental in the Boston/Vermont Area I will be spending the last week of February and the first week of March in Vermont and would like to have some sort of terminal so that I can work on my Berkeley accounts via Telenet. (I'll be in the White River Junction-Norwich-East Thetford-Hanover, N.H.- Dartmouth area for those of you in the know.) I would appreciate help on two fronts: (1) what kind of terminal to get; and (2) where to rent it. If I can rent the terminal within a reasonable distance from White River Junction, I'd like a CRT similar to the ADM3A I now use, along with a 300 or 1200 baud modem. If I have to rent the terminal in Boston and transport it to Vermont, then I think I'd choose something more easily moved than a CRT, but I know nothing about "briefcase" terminals. Any information concerning terminal types, places to rent, and costs would be greatly appreciated. I don't need APL stuff; just the full ASCII range. I'd also be interested in hearing from anyone in the area who has similar equipment and might be willing to make a buck by renting it for a week or two....
