Working with the DoD and Pentagon, NASA hopes to establish a permanent presence, at first both military and civilian together, in space. They hope to start with a 3 man module and expand that into a 20 man station. The USSR is shooting for a 12 to 14 man station by 1985. NASA is considering a joint venture with Japan and the ESA, but nothing is definite yet. ----------------------------------------------------------------- gopher://quux.org/ conversion by John Goerzen of http://communication.ucsd.edu/A-News/ This Usenet Oldnews Archive article may be copied and distributed freely, provided: 1.
