Aazure.121 fa.info-terms utzoo!decvax!duke!chico!teklabs!tekmdp!azure!stevenm Sat Jul 25 10:05:01 1981 Ann Arbor Ambassador This got lost in the ozone the first time around ... The Ann Arbor Ambassador conforms to the ANSII terminal specification. It so happens that the VT-100 also (at least claims to) adhere to this standard. In any case, for commands which are in the ANSII standard, including cursor positioning, the terminals function the same. (The Ambassador must be set in 24-line mode). For the record, I've used the VT-100 and the Ambassador, and the Ambassador is orders of magnitude nicer to use than the VT-100. Also, I am interested in hearing from anyone who wants/has Ambassador or ANSII terminal software. s. mcgeady (duke!chico!teklabs!tekmdp!stevenm) ----------------------------------------------------------------- gopher://quux.org/ conversion by John Goerzen of http://communication.ucsd.edu/A-News/ This Usenet Oldnews Archive article may be copied and distributed freely, provided: 1.
